I have had nothing but utter contempt for those charged with securing the safety of our Republic, since our honest, hardworking and selfless President Akufo-Addo (God bless him!), was sworn into office in January 2017. The biggest incompetent amongst that lot of geniuses is Hon. Bryan Acheampong. The sod.
It is instructive that no one, apparently noticed, and recognised, in what has become a complacent and hard-of-hearing administration (many of whose arrogant members forget that they were elected to serve the masses of the Ghanaian people, not to lord it over them, as if ordinary Ghanaians were the serfs of a privileged and over-pampered vampire-elite), that as a result of the unpardonable and egregious incompetence of Bryan Acheampong & Co, today, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Dr. (incidentally where did he earn that doctorate degree of his, from, I ask?) cleverly transformed the aftermath of his court appearance, into a dangerous Jerry Rawlings-type May 1979 heroic-court-martial-endurance-test, which he passed with flying colours.
That bit of strategic spur-of-the-moment thinking, instantly transformed ACP Dr. Benjamin Agordzo, into the hero of the much-suffering rank and file of the Ghana Police Service. Sadly, that unfortunate development has now actually made the overthrow of President Akufo-Addo a real possibility through a sudden and unstoppable mass-revolt, by a fed-up-and-much-put-upon younger-generation of Ghanaians. Yooooo. Hmmmm...
Incidentally, I want to make it absolutely clear to the whole wide world, that because of his unique personal qualities, speaking personally, I support President Akufo-Addo 100 percent - although I loathe his New Patriotic Party (NPP), because it is jam-packed with sly-stealth-self-seekers all strategising to send their net worth to stratospheric heights.
Sadly, according to bush-telegraph sources, some of those sly Jubilee House self-seekers, apparently take our nation's leader as a high-value-political-prisoner, whenever he is at the Jubilee House. And, to quote an old wag I know: "Kofi, they are the selfsame greedy-bastard-politicians, who have now turned President Akufo-Addo into a hapless, big-English-speechifying-Koliko-extraordinaire!" Hmmmm, Oman Ghana, eyeasem ooooo - asem kesie ebeba debi ankasa.
Finally, if he knows what is good for him, President Akufo-Addo must sack Hon. Bryan Acheampong immediately, and order the release of Dr. Benjamin Agordzo, as soon as practicable - and get the complacent Attorney General to drop all the daft charges against him. Yooooo. Hmmmm...
