Ghanaians Are A Free People - Not The Daft-Serfs Of Their Ruling-Elites

When there is widespread suffering in an African democracy saddled with corrupt and insensitive ruling-élites, there is no question that that democracy can suddenly fall, to a Jerry Rawlings-type figure. Easily. As we speak, all the signs are there, in our homeland Ghana, for those with clear eyes to see for themselves, ooooo. Yooooooo...

The sad thing for those of us who support him 100 percent - but loathe his ruling New Patriotic Party  (NPP), which has now evolved into a criminal organisation in all but name  -  is that President Akufo-Addo has all the qualities needed to enable him leave a great legacy.  However, looking at the mess the country is now in, he risks  ending up suffering the same fate suffered by Dr. K. A. Busia, if he does not make drastic changes to his leadership-style now. He needs to be more hands on, and less trusting,  ooooo. Yooooooo...

Above all, the President must wake up to the dangers of having an Attorney General, who so obviously believes that their party's interests are supreme,  and above that of  the Ghanaian nation-state -  and thus puts party interests ahead of the national interest. That is a disaster in a nation dominated by big-thieves-in-high-places.

In that sense, most discerning and independent-minded Ghanaians,  are aware of the huge difference, between the professional-mindset of the current occupier of the position of Attorney General,  and that of the distinguished lady he replaced,  Ms. Gloria Akuffo. Yoooooooo...

That unfortunate situation is a clear and present danger to Akufo-Addo's presidency - which is why he would be wise to relieve Godfrey Dame of his position as Ghana's Attorney General, quickly. The skirt-and-blouse presidential and parliamentary elections of December 2020, was telling, in demonstrating, in  palpable-fashion, the national mood.  Dumsor's return,  angers a thoroughly fed people, even more, ooooo. Yooooooo...

Political power is transient. It is extraordinary that President Akufo-Addo's relations, on whom he relies, the most, such as the Gabby Asare Otchere-Darkos and Nana Asante Bediatuos, seem oblivious of the fact that the NPP is destined to return to the political wilderness after the 2024 elections. Ghanaians are a free people, not the daft-serfs of their ruling-élites, ooooo. The quicker the Gabby Asare Otchere-Darkos and Nana Asante Bediatuos  understood that, the better it will be for their regime. Yoooooooo...
