Was the outcome of the 2020 presidential, and parliamentary elections, purchased in advance - as some conspiracy-theorists claim? To get to the bottom of this matter, the more responsible sections of the Ghanaian media, owe a responsibility to the good people of Ghana, to stop pitching camp, with either side, of the debased-coin-of-infamy, which the constituent parts of the dominant NPP/NDC duopoly, represent.
Henceforth, all Mother Ghana's truly patriotic media professionals, ought to work diligently, and assiduously, as watchdogs (and the fourth arm of government), which keeps an eagle-eye on the executive, legislature and judiciary, of our country, and hold all of them accountable to the ordinary people, in whom sovereignty, in our system, ultimately resides. Full stop.
Although our ruling-élites are most probably all saintly individuals, nonetheless, as a matter of some urgency, theGhanaian media must work together, with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), to get former U.S. President Barack Obama, to demand that the relevant U.S. government agencies, investigate the global financial dealings, of the following appointees in Ghanaian officialdom:
The Senior Minister, Hon. Yaw Osafo Marfo; the Minister of Finance, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta; Defence Minister, Hon. Nitiwul; all the Electoral Commissioners; all the heads of Ghana's security agencies; National Security Minister, Hon. Kan Dapaah; Interior Minister, Hon. Ambrose Derry; Hon. Bryan Acheampong; Hon. Kennedy Adjapong; and, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, the Ashanti Regional chairperson of the NPP. Cool.
Tbe reason for such a request, is that judging by the unfortunate events, which unfolded in Parliament, in the full glare of TV camera lights, and beamed globally, on 6th-7th January, 2021; as a civilised and aspirational African people, we must rule out the possibility that there was any grand conspiracy, to somehow secretly purchase the outcome, of the 2020 presidential, and parliamentary elections, by any of the aforementioned saintly individuals, amongst Ghana's saintly-ruling-élites. Cool.
Alas, only the U.S. has the resources, and global reach, to do so, on behalf of the ordinary people of Ghana. Simple. Case closed. No libilaba.
Enough is enough - which is why the good people of Ghana, as well as the rest of the world, need to know, whether or not, the outcome of the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections were purchased in advance. Full stop. Hmmm, Oman Ghana, eyeasem, ooooo - enti yewieye paaa enei? Asem kesie, bi, ebeba, debi ankasa, oooooo. Yooooooo...
