At all costs we must preserve remainder of Ghana's biodiversity hotspots

Dear critical-reader, at a time when humanity's only home, our beleaguered biosphere, is being so negatively impacted by climate change, we must,  as  wise and aspirational Africans,  preserve what is left of our nation's biodiversity hotspots.  Mother Ghana's future as a viable nation-state depends on that oooo, Ghanafuor. Full stop. Yoooooooo...

According to Google search: "Biodiversity is essential for the processes that support all life on Earth, including humans. Without a wide range of animals, plants and microorganisms, we cannot have the healthy ecosystems that we rely on to provide us with the air we breathe and the food we eat. And people also value nature of itself."  End of quote.

The watersheds of the major river systems sourced for the production of potable water, for distribution nationwide, are being decimated, as a result of gold mining  (both legal and illegal), and its bedfellow, chainsaw bushcut lumber production, by ruthless  criminal syndicates, boldly committing ecocide inside our forest reserves, with total impunity.

And, it is all being done, at the expense of law abiding folk nationwide,  and that of Ghanaian society generally.  Even as we speak,  dear critical-reader, residents of our nation's  capital city, Accra, have been informed by the publicly owned utility company tasked with the production and distribution of  provision treated water,  nationwide,  the Ghana Water Company Limited  (GWCL), that its existing facilities, cannot meet today's demand for potable water, for city residents, because of the increase in population, and the rapid expansion of Accra's landmass-dimensional-metrics.

Yet, we are all aware that simple hand-washing, and having clean surroundings, to live in, are key to survival, in an era when serial-pandemics will be recurrent challenges, which societies worldwide will have to constantly grapple with. How can that be possible if treated water isn't available countrywide, I ask, dear critical-reader?

In that light, the bald truth, dear critical-reader, is that without question, shortages of potable water  in heavily populated  urban areas, globally, are definitely problematical in assuring and ensuring public health, and, thus ought to be avoided at all costs.

That is why it is so tragic that Ghana's forest cover has been shrinking at such an alarming rate  - a life threatening abomination, being allowed to  occur, at  precisely the point when we need to protect our nation's remaining forests: which contain the watersheds of the main river systems that are sourced by the GWCL, to produce potable water for distribution via its countrywide  potable water distribution pipeline networks, across the entirety  of the territorial landmass of our Republic, dear critical-reader. Unpardonable. Outrageous.  Monstrous. Shameful. Full stop.

As wise and aspirational Africans, who think longterm, we cannot, and must not tolerate, the fact that  mere  allure of gold, which drives the unfathomable greed that  has literally made mad, the powerful individuals and private sector corporates that mine gold  in our nation's forest reserves, to continue being permitted by their  industry's regulatory bodies, to  mine gold in forest reserves, which contain the  watersheds of the major river systems in our country. No. No. No. Full stop. Case closed.

For the sake of present and future generations of our people, at all costs, we must preserve the remainder of Ghana's biodiversity hotspots, by leaving the minerals beneath them, untouched,  oooo, Ghanafuor. Better that, than facing the unthinkable prospect of not having access to potable water, in an era of serial-pandemics, in a warming  biosphere, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yooooooo. A word to the wise...

24-hour economy: Is a world-class public health delivery system a sine qua non for success?

Dear critical-reader, a world-class public health delivery system is a sine qua non, for any nation that wants to operate a successful 24-hour economy, full of positivity, nationwide, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yoooooooo...

It so happens that Kofi Boakye-Yiadom, Ghana's foremost green entrepreneur (and its wealthiest, by far), the hardworking and personable bicycle-riding CEO, of the Legon Botanical Gardens (that marvellous green woodland-haven, enveloped by fresh oxygen-laden air, in an African capital city, said to have the world's worst air-quality metrics, lol), has just endorsed the proposed 24-hour econony initiative of former President John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2024 election, after experiencing it filli-filli-gadochi. It has worked a treat for his team.

Apparently designed to rescue bankrupted Ghana, from the doldrums, Kofi Boakye-Yiadom has adopted it, for a green econony project, for the provision of adventure park facilities, in a publicly owned nature resource reserve, which his company is executing, even as we speak. It's working incredibly well for his project team, apparently. We thank Providence for that.

Being able to work full throttle, all night long, it has apparently done wonders for Master-Planner Kofi's fantastic, well-bonded and happy team's bottom-line productivity. Excellent.

That said, dear critical-reader, there is no gainsaying the bald fact that one of the key factors that we need to take into account, as wise and aspirational Africans, is that the powers that be, ought to ensure and assure public health, if there is to be an overall improvement in nationwide productivity,  from the increase in economic activities across the entirety of the territorial landmass of our Republic, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yooooooo...

In any economy operating 24-hour operational-scheduling for commercial entities, an uptick in cases of malaria, and burnout cases, amongst workforces, for example, might become an HR nightmare, if not tackled with bleeding-edge creativity, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yoooooooo...

A World-class public health delivery system, without question, is a sine qua non, for any nation that wants to operate a successful 24-hour economy full of positivity, nationwide, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yoooooooo...

2024 presidential election: Should the NDC think the unthinkable - and replace John Mahama with Ibrahim Mahama?

Dear critical-reader, should Ghana's largest opposition party, the J.J. Rawlings inspired National Democratic Congress (NDC), think the unthinkable, and replace John Mahama with Ibrahim Mahama as their new presidential candidate, with Hon. Zenator Agyemang-Rawlings as his running mate?

With the greatest respect, there is no question that the NDC shot itself in the foot, metaphorically, when it elected to select former  President John Dramani Mahama  as its presidential candidate for this year's pivotal elections. And, how, lol. The bald truth, is that Mahama wasn't a very successful leader, for Mother Ghana, when he had the opportunity to lead it. Full stop.

He was unserious, floundered as president,  and his government ended up going cap-in-hand to the International Monetary Fund  (IMF), and World Bank. If the former president stands as the NDC's candidate, then, sadly, skirt-and-blouse voting will give the presidency to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) - but, luckily for a wise and aspirational African people, who are long-suffering and peace loving,  complete control of Parliament, by the NDC, with a huge majority of seats, will be the outcome of the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections, as sure as day follows night.

Let us also not forget that even before the elections, former President Mahama apparently wants a honeymoon period if he wins the presidency - a sure-fire harbinger of things to come should he (Heaven forbid) win the presidency:  endless systemic lockjams; failed promise upon failed promise;   and the devastating longterm effects of his laid-back leadership style that led Mother Ghana into the arms of the IMF and World Bank when he was president. It is said that those who don't learn from history,  are bound to repeat the mistakes of the past, to use a hackneyed-paraphrase, lol.

That said, dear critical-reader,  if it is the case that the NDC is fixated with the name Mahama, then one humbly recommends that they simply ask former President Mahama to voluntarily step aside, asap, as their presidential candidate, and move quickly to choose Ibrahim Mahama, instead, as their new presidential candidate, to replace the former president. Simple.

Clearly, we have reached a pivotal juncture, in the history of our  post-independence journey-of-nationhood,  when Ghana must spurn unserious politicians, and, instead, choose as its new leader, a serious and disciplined wealth-creating-genius, to helm what  is now a metaphorical rudderless ship - cast adrift, and slowly taking in water, and inexorably sinking,  in deep-blue-water, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yooooooooo...

What Mother Ghana desperately needs, is a real world-class leader,  who is a solid-achiever-type with a stellar track record of creating wealth that remains locally, and ownership of successful commercial undertakings that have generated jobs galore, and is personally super-rich, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yooooooooo...

If he has the wisdom to  step aside for his younger brother, then after the NDC assumes power in January, 2025, former President John Mahama can travel the world, representing Ghana in sundry international conclaves, and talk-shop-fora, while a newly-elected President Ibrahim Mahama stays at home, throughout his first tenure, to  focus exclusively on executing bleeding-edge policy ideas, to create an unrivalled low-tax business environment across the entirety of the landmass of our bankrupted Republic (now firmly controlled by the IMF, and the World Bank, both of which are working assiduously, here, even as we speak, to promote  the vital interests of the foreign powers that control both those Shylock-type  multilateral financial institutions - which were  designed in the first place  to enable them enslave emerging nations foolish enough  to seek their assistance, lol),  to spur economic growth that can help transform our  beleaguered homeland, into a happy and prosperous society, that benefits all its societal demographics, in equitable fashion.

With the best will in the world, dear critical-reader, John Dramani  Mahama can never lead Mother Ghana out of the doldrums she now finds herself metaphorically stranded in - and, truth be told, even our former president knows that deep down his own heart, oooo,  Ghanafuor. Yoooooooo...

If chosen to replace former President John Dramani Mahama, as the presidential candidate of the NDC,  one boldly predicts, without any equivocation whatsoever,  that a candidate Ibrahim Mahama, will trounce the presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party  (NPP),  Ghana's current Vice President, H. E. Muhammadu Bawumia, and win the 2024 presidential election by a stunning landslide. That is why the NDC must think the unthinkable, and replace John Mahama with Ibrahim Mahama, as their new presidential candidate. Case closed.  A word to the wise. Yooooooooo...

Has the coming to light of a dark side of bleeding-edge AI-bedrocked technology complicated modern day life?

Dear critical reader, it would appear that modern day life just got a tad more complicated, for humankind, because of a dark side of bleeding-edge AI -bedrocked technology, coming to light, so to speak.

News reports that voters in the U. S. State of New Hampshire, received, and were taken in, by robocalls using a deep-faked voice of President Joe Biden "telling them to skip the state's upcoming primary election", to quote Business Insider, have apparently shaken many, globally. What to do to stop the proliferation of deep-fakes from poisoning societal discourse globally, one wonders?

Perhaps, dear critical-reader, the question to ponder over, as regards this new unwelcome AI-bedrocked deep-fakery darkish-tech-challenge, is: Is it the case that all the world's telecommunications companies without exception,  must be forced to take steps, swiftly, going foward into the future, to stop cybercrimes and protect consumers worldwide, that way - or should new legislation be passed, under certificates of urgency, globally, prescribing mandatory death sentences for cybercrimes: to protect law abiding folk worldwide from ending up becoming victims of such devastating AI-bedrocked scams?

Better still, dear critical-reader,
would combining both approaches, also enable regulators, law enforcement agencies and the nation-state national security apparatuses, of all the sovereign states of the world, to protect innocent law-abiding people, globally, from being victimised by such terrifying AI-underpinned online scams? Perhaps we must all be a tad more careful when using our digital devices when navigating the landscape of the brave new world of the AI-tech-bedrocked era? Yes? No?

Clearly, modern day life just got a bit more complicated for humankind, because of this dark side of bleeding-edge AI technology, it would appear, dear critical-reader, lol. Such is life!

Should we step out of the shadow of conventional economic thinking to transform Ghana?

Dear critical-reader, should we step out of the shadow of conventional economic thinking, and end taxpayer funded bailout payments for corporates - and, for example,   use the selfsame earmarked monies to fund families and individuals that request for it, to build their own homes?

It is rather unfortunate that our nation's greed-filled, hard-of-hearing self-seeking ruling elites still don't understand why we must move out of the shadow of conventional economic thinking, dear critical-reader. For starters, we need to put Ghana on the world map as the nation with the lowest personal and corporate tax rates on the face of the planet Earth, to attract ethical patient investors who think longterm.

Doing so will spark an unprecedented economic boom, which will lift tens of millions of our base-of-the-pyramid demographics, out of the poverty-trap, and empower them to bootstrap their own way to financial independence.

How, so, some might enquire? Well, by implementing a raft of innovative and contrarian policy ideas, such as simply
giving all families and individuals who request for it, for example, 100-year generational levelling-up loans, with 5-year grace periods before agreed miniscule repayments, spread over 100 years begin, to build new climate resilient, smart new green homes, in planned new green communities, purpose built by our brightest and best innovative private sector green entrepreneurs.

All the climate smart sustainability underpinned  houses, and apartment blocks in those new planned climate resilient green communities, will be built in concentric rings, around a core family-oriented park with adventure facilities, and playgrounds for kids, and will be sited within walled compounds that are agroforestry design-bedrocked fruit forest gardens, for residents.

Additionally,  all community road networks in those new planned green climate resilient communities, will be lined with fruit and economic trees so that no one in them ever lacks seasonal fruits, and all community  members that need it, can benefit from the sales revenues generated by harvests from the  economic trees.

Furthermore, the agreed minuscule installment repayments for those generational levelling-up loans, will provide governments-of-the-day with assured revenues for decades, and yield steady income for the pension funds and insurance companies that will part-fund it, dear critical-reader. Ditto create wealth that remains locally, nationwide, and jobs galore across the entire landmass of our Republic.

It is for all the above-mentioned reasons, and others too many to enumerate in a shortish piece, dear critical-reader,  that  our nation's  ruling elites must definitely move out of the shadow of conventional economic thinking, if our homeland Ghana is to be ever transformed into a prosperous and equitable African society, in which all soceital demographics benefit from the exploitation of the rich natural resources, which our beautiful and bountiful country is so generously blessed with, by Providence.

In that light, dear critical-reader, the question to ponder, over, as wise and aspirational Africans, is: What disaster could possibly strike Mother Ghana, were such a transformative policy idea to be ever implemented?

In light of all the aforementioned reasons, let us  therefore end state funded bailouts for regime-crony corporates - and,  instead, as wise and aspirational Africans, use those selfsame public monies to fund 100-year bailouts, for families and individuals that ask for it, to enable them build their own climate resilient homes, in new private-sector built planned climate resilient green communities. Case closed. Full stop. A word to the wise...

Has the time now come for the ECG to be sued in a class action lawsuit?

Dear critical-reader, the question that a patient, long-suffering people, who also happen to be wise and aspirational Africans, ought to ponder over is: Has the time now come for the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), to  be sued in a class action lawsuit, by concerned electricity consumers in Ghana?

Whatever be the case, something drastic definitely  needs to be done, by dissatisfied power consumers, to shake up the ECG. For sure. Nothing else will do. Full stop.

According to Google in answer to the question: Why is electricity the most important invention? "It adds light to the world and is part of the solution to most modern problems. Also without electricity, it would be impossible to communicate with the rest of the world and the world as we know it would not be as advanced.30 Aug 2016."

That is how pivotal electricity is today,  dear critical-reader. Yet, from one's personal experience of dealing with the ECG's Central Regional branch's Obom Road, Kasoa North District Office, one has come to the rather painful conclusion (after experiencing endless stonewalling by crafty and unsympathetic  ECG staff), that only a class action law suit, with the ECG and the industry regulator, the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission  (PURC), as co-defendants, will bring about needed change to transform the ECG into a well run company, for which consumer satisfaction, and fairness,  matters, above all else, and, are operational priorities.

As one sees it, presently, the ECG has obviously been hijacked by ruthless insiders, to enable them enrich themselves, at the expense of electricity consumers nationwide, to the detriment of Mother Ghana. That is intolerable for a state-owned entity providing an essential service for society, in the digital era.

Clearly, dear critical-reader,
something drastic needs to be done by dissatisfied power consumers, across the entire territorial landmass, of our Republic, to shake up the ECG from the stupor it is currently in.That is why the time has now definitely come for concerned electricity consumers to sue the ECG, in a class action law suit.  Full stop. Case closed.  Haaba. Yoooooooo...

Will worldwide mandatory death sentences for online scams deter scammers globally?

Dear critical-reader, will worldwide mandatory death sentences for online scams deter scammers globally, one wonders? Only the victims of online fraudsters understand just how devastating being scammed actually is. It has ruined many around the world, as it happens.

Sadly, if effective measures aren't instituted against online scamming, globally, that crime against humanity will worsen. For sure.  According to Mastercard, for example, "Global ecommerce fraud is increasing, with losses reaching $41 million in 2022 and predicted to exceed $48 billion in 2023." That's intolerable, is it not, dear critical-reader?

In light of that, in one's humble view, to deter it effectively, it might very well be that the passage of legislation prescribing mandatory death sentences for online scamming worldwide, will be the only effective global antidote to online scams. Full stop.

Humankind needs to understand clearly that effective global antidotes to online scams, are crucial, at the cusp of the era when powerful, super clever chatbots will be underpinning the 5th and 6th industrial revolutions. Tardiness in so doing might harm millions worldwide - a scary prospect for vulnerable folk globally, lol.

Google:

"The concept of the Fourth Industrial Revolution was coined in 2016 by Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum, in a book of the same name."

"What is the role of AI in the 4th industrial revolution?
This new era is marked by more connected devices and digital tools, and AI is playing a bigger role than ever. It's helping automate factories, predict when machines need repairs, and make better business decisions. But this change also brings important questions about ethics and security.30 Jul 2023."

"What is the difference between the 4th industrial revolution and the 5th industrial revolution?
While Industry 4.0 marks an era of automation and robotics, Industry 5.0 puts the focus on people. With new inventions called “Co-bots”, which are collaborative robots that work alongside humans to increase efficiency, we can breathe out with the knowledge that human workers will not eventually become redundant.21 Aug 2023."

"Industry 6.0(Future Concept), also known as the sixth industrial revolution, is characterized by using advanced technologies such as quantum computing, and nanotechnology over the pre-built Industry 5.0 architecture.6 Mar 2023."

We rest our case, dear critical-reader: passing legislation
worldwide prescribing  mandatory death sentences for online scams, will definitely deter online scammers globally, and save millions from ending up becoming victims of sundry online scammers, as sure as day follows night, lol. A word to the wise...

The West's worst nightmare: An Africa that can neither be bullied nor cajoled - and fears nothing?

Dear critical-reader, now full of abundant self-belief, the New Africa fears no one - and, what is even more interesting, nothing now frightens her, either, lol. The bald truth, today, is that Africa can no longer be marginalised and made a mockery, of, by the arrogant wealthy nations of the Global North, lol. Africa now wants to be dealt with on her own terms. Full stop.

So what exactly has Mama Africa got up her sleeve, dear critical-reader?
According to Google: "The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement will create the largest free trade area in the world measured by the number of countries participating. The pact connects 1.3 billion people across 55 countries with a combined gross domestic product (GDP) valued at US$3.4 trillion. 27 Jul 2020."

The days of being a globally mocked begging-bowl-diplomacy superpower, are over for good, thank goodness, lol.

Unfortunately,  much like France, most of the wealthy nations of the Global North, still don't realise that the old Africa they used to mock and exploit in ruthless fashion, no longer exists, lol. Soon, however, one after the other, they will soon wake up to that new reality, which is the metaphorical New Africa.

It is at that juncture, dear critical-reader, that they will each come face to face with their worst nightmare, turned to harsh on-the-ground-reality: An Africa that can neither be bullied nor cajoled - because, now full of abundant self-belief,  she fears no one, and, even more worrying for her many secret enemies, nothing now frightens her, she fears absolutely no one, and, above all, now wants to be dealt with on her own take-it-or-leave-it terms. Full stop. Case closed. Yooooooooo...

Ghana's PURC: Investigate allegations of inflated post-paid-meter readings by some ECG staff members

Dear critical-reader, it is vital that the industry regulatory body overseeing Ghana's public utilities, the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC), urgently investigates the new phenomenon, of alleged inflated estimated post-paid meter consumption figure  readings by ECG meter readers.

Estimated consumption meter figure readings of post-paid ECG issued meters, in properties entered into, and in which post-paid-meters have been duly accessed, for reading,  are in effect, a nonsensical legal misnomer: because once ECG meter readers actually gain access to officially installed ECG post-paid meters, in properties nationwide, consumption figures read by them, are actual readings, not estimates. Full stop.

The phenomenon appears to be a new form of egregious digital-age extortion, being perpetrated by criminal-types within the ECG, who apparently also collaborate with crooked employees of telecommunications companies, too, when needed, to fleece hapless electricity consumers, across the length and breadth of the entire landmass of our bankrupted Republic.

That is intolerable, as our much-troubled country is unfortunately one in which the masses have had their lives suddenly turned upside down, by an unprecedented cost-of-living crisis, wreaking havoc on their personal finances.

The modus operandi of such rogue ECG employees, is to demand that dissatisfied consumers take their own video recordings of the consumption figure readings of the officially installed ECG post-paid meters in their premises, and take same to their district ECG offices.

There, dear critical-reader, ECG staff members participating in, and benefiting from the ongoing alleged fraud, now being perpetrated against electricity consumers, enjoy and share a daily bonanza of massive amounts of bribe-monies - free booty offered by frustrated, frightened and vulnerable electricity
consumers: most of them desperate to avoid being disconnected and pay to be reconnected to the national electricity grid, and, who, in reality, can barely afford to put food on their tables thrice daily, if have to pay rent, on top too,in some cases, and thus have to survive on a day to day basis. Shameful. Abominable. Unspeakable. Monstrous. Unpardonable.

The PURC must act immediately, and investigate this scandalous fraud allegation, now, not tomorow. Enough, really is enough, in this example of totally unacceptable employee-grifting for personal profit, at the expense of consumers - in what after all is a state-owned utility company, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yoooooooo...

Can the Global North prevent future waves of illegal migrants from massing up on its borders?

Dear critical-reader, how can the wealthy nations of the Global North, prevent future waves of illegal migrants from massing up on their borders? The views on that issue held by Ms. Giorgia Melon, the Italian Prime Minister, might be useful, in that regard:

Once upon a time, Ms. Giorgia Melon, condemned France, for its ruinous exploitation of Burkina Faso, in which young children (who in her view ought to have access to education and should be attending school), were forced by circumstances, to work in gold mines, to support their families.

The plain truth, dear critical-reader, is that Gobal North borders, such as the one between Mexico and the U.S., wouldn't be teeming with asylum seekers from the Global South, most of whom probably paid small fortunes to people-smuggling criminal syndicates, if impactful levelling-up schemes (such as the one this link leads to: https://www.twam.uk/), proliferated in hall the world's wealthy nations, to help empower ambitious, aspirational but needy-poor-individuals, amongst Global South base-of-the-pyramid demographics, to bootstrap their own way out of the poverty-trap, to financial independence, as micro-entrepreneurs in their home countries. No question. Full stop.

The question to ponder over, dear critical-reader, is: Why does it never apparently strike the Global North's far-right politicians that in the long-term, shared prosperity, worldwide, through private sector led social impact initiatives, using business methods, is the smartest way for rich nations to prevent waves of illegal migrants from poor nations massing up on the borders of the wealthy Global North nations that they lead, and dominate, so?

Is now not therefore the perfect time, for such far-right Global North politicians to wake up to that stark-reality, perhaps, dear critical-reader? No? Yes? A case of free advice to the too clever by half, wooly-brained wise-bone-headed politicos, perhaps, lol? Yes? No?

Hmmm, today's Anansesemkrom Oman Ghana paaaa diiyi3

Hmmm, today's Anansesemkrom Oman Ghana paaaa diiyi3, 3y3nsem piiiii, oooo, Ghanafuor,  lol. The question to ponder over, as wise and aspirational Africans, is: Is a democracy deliberately morphed into a kleptocracy, which  exists for a powerful few to loot with abandon, with total impunity,  worth fighting for?

Truth be told, dear critical-reader, there is not much that one can say that has not already been said, by others, who are equally concerned about the bankrupting of our country,  which focuses on today's stupendous Anansesekrom Oman Ghana state-capture rent-seeking asset-grabbing of sundry state-owned assets, by the  big-thieves-in-high-places, who now dominate our kafkaesque system.

The bald truth, dear critical reader,  is that a greedy and powerful few, amongst those currently in power,  are all busy  robbing us blind  -  to enable them send their personal net worth to stratospheric heights: at the expense of Ghanaian society, generally, lol. Hmmm, 3y3nsem, piiiii, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yoooooooo...

Be that as it may, what one can say, though, dear critical-reader, is that it may very well be that, if the December 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections are rigged, in favour of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), then only another Jerry Rawlings-type bold and fearless young military officer, can end Mother Ghana's nightmare. For sure.  Full stop.

If the December 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections are rigged to  enable the NPP to return to power again, then  only enforced regime change  will save Mother Ghana - enforced regime change such as  that which birthed the short-lived Armed Forces Revolutionary Council (AFRC) military regime, which came into being, after the June 4th, 1979, military  uprising by young officers, together with their trusted rank and file collaborators.

That should then lead to a no-nonsense house cleaning exercise, followed by  public executions of all the arrogant and smug criminals currently in power, who are gang-raping Mother Ghana so brutally - if they are found guilty of egregious high-level corruption leading to serious financial loss, to our Republic: in open public trials in Military Tribunal hearings, during which all the greedy and selfish rogues would have been represented  by lawyers of their own choice. Full stop.  Case closed. Yoooooooo.  Hmmm, today's Anansesemkrom Oman Ghana paaaa diiyi3  -  tweaaaaa...

Should we now substitute the word racist with the word segregationist?

Dear critical-reader,  has the time not now come to substitute the word "racist" with the "posher" sounding word  "segregationist", lol? Segregationist" would definitively  be a more suitable description, of such individuals (racists), whatever their skin hue  -  in the mad, bad and daft world of cultural-wars battling-feuds.

Truth be told, although Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), can serve those who see its benefits, perhaps its best that it is ended as a required  societal levelling-up programme - as it is rightly  resented by many white people, who feel it  somehow disadvantages them. That is unfair to such decent white people, who can't help being the way they are. Simple.

Furthermore, and more to the point, it ought to be immediately scrapped, as it is now  being deployed to birsmirch the  reputations and capabilities of the most capable coloured individuals, in society  -  some of whom are far superior to their white colleagues, when employees are  measured  on the most widely accepted key comparative  workplace organisational HR metrics. Enough, really is enough, in that sense, dear critical-reader. Full stop. Case closed. Haaba.

And, while we are at it,  dear critical-reader, let us also drop the word "racist", as it also now being unfairly used to birsmirch even decent White people exercising their constitutional right to associate only with whoever they choose to - in their case, associating only with individuals who fit the requirements for classification as being a White person, in U.S. census racial and  ethnic demographic data measuring metrics, lol. Right is right and wrong is wrong, after all.  As is calling a spade a spade, lol.

Finally, dear critical-reader, one humbly suggests that the word  "Segregationist" would definitely be a more suitable description of such individuals (racists), whatever their skin hue  -   in the mad, bad and daft world of cultural-wars battling-feuds. Let us, therefore,  going forward into the future, substitute the word racist, with the word segregationist.  No? Yes? Doable?

DEI not a factor in increase in incidence of aircraft near-misses?

If one remembers correctly, dear critical-reader, Mark Twain it was, who, once upon a time, is said to have said that: “There are lies, damn lies, and statistics.”

America must definitely end the divisive cultural wars ruining it - with the endless battles underpinned by statistics, lol.

Even an ignoramus and uneducated old fool like me, gets it, that it is perfectly understandable that aircraft near-misses will go up, simply because of the sheer numbers of aeroplanes flying across the U.S. daily, for example, lol.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), is irrelevant in that sense. Surely, tech gurus ought to rather focus on cutting-edge AI technological
innovations, which will make air control towers in airports worldwide, more efficient and effective, lol?

Ditto will it not be advantageous to society, generally, were tech gurus to also elect to focus on promoting bleeding-edge AI technological innovations, which will make the arduous task of aircraft maintenance, too, effective and efficient worldwide - by removing the human-error-factor, from their operational fields, lol? No? Yes? It makes absolutely no sense at all to blame all societal ills on DEI. Full stop. Case closed, Haaba.

For peace worldwide to break out before 2024 ends the West must think the impossible

Dear critical-reader, to ensure that permanent peace breaks out, globally, before 2024 ends, the West's leaderships  must think the impossible - beginning with their nations' relationships with China and the Russian Federation.

Instead of seeing China as a potential foe, the West should rather focus on encouraging China's leaders to see their country as a global force-for-good. They must sign a non-interference treaty committing to not interfering in China's internal affairs, as a sign of goodwill and good faith.

Ditto encourage China to sign a 99-year peaceful coexistence agreement (PCA), with Taiwan, which guarantees Taiwan the right to remain a separate state with a democratic system, free from interference in its internal affairs during the entirety of the PCA  -  and finally  become a fully integrated part of China after the 99 year PCA lapses. Simple.

The West must also offer Russia membership of both the European Union (EU), and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation  (NATO), if it ends all its wars of aggression against its neighbours, and pulls out of all Ukrainian territory that it currently occupies.

Ditto end its post 2nd World War occupation of Japan's Kurile Islands, and pulls out all its military and administrative civilian personnel from the Kurile Islands,  and also  signs a new treaty of peaceful coexistence with Japan.

In exchange for all the above, dear critical-reader, the West must drop all planned future prosecutions of President  Putin, members of his Military High Command, as well as an end to sanctions imposed  against the Russian Federation and selected Russian  entrepreneurs amongst  the Putin-era ruling elites, for their alleged support for the invasion of Ukraine, by Russia.

Finally, perhaps it is by thinking the impossible, along the lines outlined  above, dear critical-reader, that the West can positively collaborate with China and Russia, to enable worldwide peace to break out, before 2024 ends? Yes? No? Doable?

A quick note to Issa Ouedraogo - on why Africa must rely on innovative African agripreneurs

Good morning, kindred-spirit. How are things on the Western front? Let's continue praying that you will be covered by the protective shield making a nonsense of the costly-malevolence of your evil enemies, who, perversely, are hell bent on unjustly ruining you.

Kindred-spirit, you are being protected, and are defeating Moringa, because Providence sees the importance of Ghana replicating your unique and highly successful agribusiness profit-sharing model, for its longterm benefit, rather than a gang of French racists and their local greed-filled enablers benefiting from it, unfairly, in egregious fashion.

The bald truth, is that for Moringa and the Receiver/Deceiver (R/D), B-BOVID is a commercial entity to ruthlessly extract value from, like any other business.

That is why it is so pivotal that, through this example of frivolous bad faith abuse of our justice delivery system, by Moringa and the R/D, you and Team Sorey make the judge understand clearly that on the contrary, to be profitable, B-BOVID's focus, must perforce, be on ensuring the overall well-being of its value chain's  smallholder farmer-stakeholders, through your NGO, T.R.A.C.T.O.R.'s, charitable interventions. Greed-filled Moringa and the R/D, aren't cognitively wired to understand that.

Furthermore, B-BOVID was conceived to leverage climate smart and cimate resilent agriforestry principles (that can be replicated nationwide and across Africa), to improve the natural environment in the served-communities, which B-BOVID's corporate footprint covers, and in so doing, assure Mother Ghana permanent food security, while at the same time also transforming lives in local farming communities, by empowering B-BOVID's smallholder farmer-stakeholder partners to bootstrap their own way to financial independence, through income stream diversification, to make your served area in rural Ghana (and farming areas nationwide), a prosperous and happy part of our nation, at a time when climate change is impacting our nation so negatively, through extreme weather events.

For all the above-mentioned reasons, kindred-spirit, it strikes me that the bad-faith application by the Receiver/Deceiver to the court, to imprison you, is yet another perfect example of Moringa's own-goal-stupidity, on which you and Team Sorey must capitalise, to obtain, at relatively little financial cost, what the GAC panel is asking you to pay USD25K, to pronounce on.

Kindred-spirit, do you realise that you now have the perfect opportunity, with Turpin's departure (the idiot whose compensation package of €25K you objected to and which led to the deterioration of your relationship with Moringa in the first place, lol), to tell the judge that the best way for the court to protect the interests of B-BOVID, is to take it away from the Receiver/Deceiver and Moringa (under whose control the company's finances are fast deteriorating), because neither Moringa nor the R/D, can ever make it a profitable agribusiness - precisely because they do not understand the spirituality and shared prosperity ethos, underpinning B-BOVID.

The fact of the matter, is that B-BOVID is designed to be a profit-sharing agribusiness, which has as its core-objective, improving and enhancing the lives of its partner smallholder farmers, and protecting and enhancing the natural environment, in which its business operations take place, using climate-smart and climate resilient agriforestry principles.

The departure of Antoine Turpin, since September 2023, now makes it even more imperative that you immediately take control of B-BOVID, from the clueless R/D, the washed up racist, Herve, and the criminal-minded Charles Adu-Frimpong. Full stop.

As it happens, together, those clueless rogues are running B-BOVID into the ground, literally -  as well as fast dissipating the reserves you built up, and accumulated, in various bank accounts of the company, while you were the substantive CEO/founder running B-BOVID.

The question to ponder over as wise and aspirational Africans is: Is B-BOVID not a partnership, which Moringa was able to secure, only through an unconscionable agreement, made possible by blatant conflict of interest, and a total disregard for the corporate good governance principles of duty-of-care, and duty-of-loyalty, by the unethical and self-dealing BELA?

As wise and aspirational peoples, to ensure rural prosperity and green economy jobs galore, perforce, all Africans must rely on Africa's most innovative social impact profit-sharing agripreneurs, like your good self, Issa. They must not stake the continent's longterm future, on ruthless and unethical foreign robber-baron-type racist profiteers, like Moringa - if we aim to make food security possible, across the entire landmass of our beautiful and bountiful continent.

Finally, sadly, what Africa's mostly naive ruling-elites have failed to grasp, cognitively,  thus far, is that so-called foreign investors, such as the duplicitous  Moringa,  are in Africa solely to acquire land, and other green economy assets, cheaply, and use offshore tax havens, such as Mauritius and Luxembourg, to engage in tax evasion and illicit financial flows, to enable them successfully hoover up some of the trillions sloshing around the mostly opaque  climate mitigation financial world. Full stop. Case closed. Yoooooooo...

Dealing with the hordes at U.S. borders requires thoughtful creative-thinking not hate-filled knee-jerk reaction

Dear critical-reader, dealing with the ongoing  challenge of the hordes of migrants massing up at U. S. borders, particularly that with Mexico, requires commonsensical-thoughtfulness, not hate-filled knee-jerk reactions.

Cultural warriors on both the left and right of the spectrum, need to let up - this is a U.S. national security issue. Full stop. A possible first step to resolving this emergency, is patriotic  bipartisanship  that enables the U. S. Congress, to swiftly pass tough new laws that permanently disqualifies all those arriving at U. S. borders, without valid visas, and IDs, from ever seeking asylum in America, again. That is a must.

Furthermore, binding treaty's with nations worldwide that incentivises them (such as offering them tarrif-free entry to US markets, for high quality goods manufactured by private sector  local enterprises), to pass new legislation instituting exit permits/visas for all citizens who wish to travel overseas to the US (and elsewhere in the Global North), must be negotiated quickly, and approved by the regional groupings, where the most migrants hail from, such as the Economic Community of West African states (ECOWAS),  for example.

Creative measures along those lines, will perhaps  make a difference. Shared global prosperity can definitely help halt such troubling waves of mass migration to U. S. borders. For sure. Full stop.

The U.S. Armed Forces  can also  play a key  role in facilitating mass deportations from Mexico, for example,  by flying migrants back to their home countries to be resettled in new planned green communities for internally displaced people, specially  designed for such returnee migrants.

The construction of such new planned green communities, can perhaps be funded by eliminating egregious  corruption from approved defence department procurement budgets, to free up the needed wherewithal (billions of value-for-money tax dollars will be required),  for U.S. and local military engineers,  to build such green planned communities in record time, surely?

Whatever be the case,  dear critical-reader, dealing effectively with the hordes currently massing up at U.S. borders, such as that with Mexico, requires thoughtful  creative-thinking, not hate-filled knee-jerk reaction. Case closed. Full stop. Yooooooo...

Starlink: Should Musk do for humanity what Tim Berners-Lee's free-for-all Internet business model has done?

Dear critical-reader, at the cusp of the AI-bedrocked 4th industrial revolution, should Elon Musk focus on doing for humanity, what Tim Berners-Lee's free-for-all Internet business model has done, and helped generate so much prosperity globally, too, with Starlink's direct satellite-to-smartphone cell service?

One has been mulling this over, since yesterday,  after AirtelTigo's  Internet service suddenly went kaput. It so happens, dear critical-reader,  that as we speak, one has been subjected to the intolerable and tiresome  enforced-experience, of being without Internet access, through no fault of one's - simply because the telecoms company whose super-expensive  broadband Internet service one subscribes to (now state-owned AirtelTigo), has, one assumes, been servicing its cell tower base network's equipment, and as usual, did so without a care about how that would  impact hapless  subscribers. Typical.

Yet, the world's telecoms companies need to quickly grasp the import of the operationalisation of SpaceX's superfast satellite-based global direct-to-smartphone cell Starlink Internet broadband service. Even an ignoramus and uneducated old fool like me has cottoned on to that, lol.

The bald truth, is that Starlink's satellite  direct to smartphone cell superfast broadband Internet service, has made the world's telecom sector's  operational cell tower backboned-infrastructure, an outmoded and valueless obselete technological burden, which has been universally disliked, till date, because it has always been seen by many globally as posing huge unacceptable risks, to public health, worldwide.

The situation of  telecoms companies today,  is  more or less akin to that faced by the manufacturers of horse drawn carriages,  when newly invented internal combustion engined motor vehicles, made travel by horse drawn carriages, a mobility sector  service that was suddenly seen for what it always was: a societal inconvenience with countless, unspeakable and abominable public-health-impacting  on-the-ground-negativities, that had to be swiftly consigned to the metaphorical landfill of history,  with the invention of internal combustion engined motor vehicles.

Dear critical-reader, in the same vein, the global telecoms sector,  as we currently know it, will soon disappear, as sure as day follows night, once it dawns on Elon Musk that, on the cusp of the AI-bedrocked  4th industrial revolution, he too must do for humanity,  what Tim Berners-Lee did, when he foresook profiting directly from  inventing the Internet that has fuelled such astonishing  prosperity globally, for decades now - although he could have chosen to  patent it, and made it a personal pay-walled-monopoly business model: guaranteed to make him, and all his family tree's descendants, super-rich, till the very end of time.

Although one isn't tech-savvy, and thus realises that one may be talking complete nonsense, lol, one's humble view,  is that, paradoxically, Musk's EverythingXApp, will profit mightily, financially, from a Tim Berners-Lee type Starlink, which, like today's advert-bedrocked corporate  behemoth,  Google, the world's preeminent search engine, owned by Tablet, will generate unimaginable wealth, for its promoters, too, from adverts.

Even though one isn't tech-savvy, one can foresee it generating unimaginable wealth for its promoters, via EverythingXApp services such as: an Uber-style flying cars/drones service worlwide; heavy-lift cargo drone service; a global point-to-point capital city budget airline with a fleet of Tesla manufactured electric aircraft; global mobile money service; global Skype-type phone service;  community WiFi micro-entrepreneurial ecosystem, that will  generate tens of millions of jobs, worldwide; drone bulk and container shipping service; affordable Grok-bedrocked  schools worldwide, providing world-class education from kindergarten to tertiary level;   etc., etc., to mention just a few of the future possibilities from a Tim Berners-Lee style free-for-all bouquet of services that awaits humanity, because of the free-for-all Starlink-bedrocked EverythingXApp.

That, dear critical-reader, is the reason why, at the cusp of the AI-bedrocked 4th industrial revolution, Elon Musk should focus on doing for humanity, what Tim Berners-Lee's free-for-all Internet business model has done, thus far, to enable him  help generate prosperity globally, too, for himself, his XCorp shareholders and humanity generally, in the era of the AI-bedrocked 4th industrial revolution.

At all costs we must end cybercrime in Ghana

Dear critical-reader, at all costs,  we must  end cybercrime in Ghana. Full stop. No question. It is in that light that news that Chinese and Russian scientists  have tested a ‘hack-proof’ quantum communication link for Brics countries,  encrypted with the help of secure keys transmitted by China's Mozi satellite, is to be welcomed.

It is fantastic news, as it more or less means that at long last the end of Africa's many online fraudsters is nigh. Wow. Apparently, in the first half of 2023, cyber fraud activities led to direct financial losses of $4.32 million (GH¢49.5m) in Ghana, according to Business Insider Africa, quoting the Director-General of Ghana's  Cyber Security Authority (CSA), Dr. Albert Antwi-Boasiako.

One loathes cybercriminals,  because the destructive nature of the impacts of their crimes on victims worldwide, effectively means that cybercriminals worldwide, can literally get away with murder, as it happens, dear critical-reader.

If one had one's way,  they would all be shot when apprehended  - after their being investigated and prosecuted, if found guilty after trial in fast-track specialised cybercrime courts: using new legislation  prescribing mandatory death sentences for online fraud of all kinds. Full stop.

Given the pivotal importance of  ecommerce, in the age of the  Generative AI bedrocked 4th industrial revolution, it  is so unfortunate that lack of resources is preventing Ghana's security agencies  from effectively fighting cybercriminals from across the ECOWAS region, who together with their Ghanaian collaborators, have succeeded in turning Ghana into a global power in cybercrime. Pity.

As it happens, dear critical-reader, super-ruthless multinational criminal syndicates, operating in parts of Ghana,  often use enslaved trafficked young people from across the West African sub-region, who  work day and night, literally, in sundery hacking-farms, in melting pot communities, such as our beautiful and bountiful  Central Region's world-famed Gomoa Buduburam's Camp Liberia refugee settlement area, for that vile purpose. The sods. Monsters.

One hopes that all the world's cybercriminals will rot in the hottest part of hell, when they finally pass away, dear critical-reader. Enough, really is enough, in this reputation-damaging matter, oooo, Ghanafuor. That is why at all costs, we must  end cybercrime in Ghana, oooo, Ghanafuor. Full stop. No question.  Case closed.  Yooooooo...

Surely, Ghanaians deserve better managers of their national economy?

Surely, dear critical-reader,  Ghanaians deserve better managers of their national economy? Even an ignoramus and uneducated old fool like me can see that, oooo,  Ghanafuor - and that's saying something,  aankasa,  oooo, lol. Haaba. Hmmm, 3y3asem, oooo...

With the greatest respect,  until we step out of the shadow of conventional economic thinking,  we shall continue along the thorn-strewn ruination-path, paved with good intentions,  leading us inexorably to the  hell on earth that is a kafkaesque Anansesemkrom, oooo,  Ghanafuor. Yooooooo...

To start off, let us incentivise the whole of our agricultural sector, to ensure food security and abundant healthy organic produce, at a time when climate change is negatively impacting rural Ghana, by making the whole sector, not just cocoa farming, tax free, and  replicate Issa Ouedraogo's unique profit sharing climate smart organic farming social impact agribusiness model, B-BOVID, nationwide, to transform rural Ghana into a happy, healthy and prosperous part of our homeland Ghana, through empowering smallholder farmers to  bootstrap their way to financial independence, by bedrocking their farms on a profit-sharing agroforestry ethos.

Furthermore, unless, and, until, the entrepreneurs  importing crappy cheap products,  for fat profits, are incentivised to switch to exporting our world-class standard manufactured goods, our balance of payments will always be negative. Simple. That is why we have a junk currency that the world likes to make fun of. Simple. That's not rocket science, surely?

And, if we continue to hinder entrepreneurs who take enormous risks to establish factories in Ghana,  and employ workers to help them produce goods that they currently import for fat profits, by piling  tax after tax on their import substitution  manufacturing enterprises, those business will continue to  fail, make their workforces redundant, and add to the misery being experienced by the masses.

Endlessly taxing entrepreneurs is  economically  stunting, because failed businesses laying off workers, will always  lead to high unemployment rates, which could one day culminate in a sudden  social explosion that will ruin our beautiful and bountiful homeland Ghana, by setting it back decades, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yooooooo...

Let us therefore focus on forcing our hard of hearing  ruling elites to cut down the intolerable waste in the public sector. Full stop. The bald truth, is that  high-level corruption is literally draining the very lifeblood, out of Mother Ghana, oooo, Ghanafuor. Haaba.

Above all, dear critical-reader, we must  cure the addiction of our hard-of-hearing  ruling-elites, to taxing hardworking entrepreneurs risking their investments, in a byzantine system hijacked by state-capture  big-thieves-in-high-places, who are robbing Mother Ghana, blind, in broad daylight, with total impunity, and are getting away with it, just to send their personal net worth to stratospheric heights,  at Ghanaian  society's expense, and compromising the overall well-being of the enterprise Ghana, in the process, ooooo, Ghanafuor. We deserve better, wai. Enough, really is enough, now. Full stop.  Case closed. Yooooooo...

Should we end the baleful influence of our metaphorical nest of vipers in 2024?

Dear critical-reader, as wise and aspirational Africans, should we not avert the minds of traditional rulers in Ghana, to the possibility of their being called upon to pay reparations for their key roles in the slave trade - and the need therefore for them to lie low,  and remain under the public's metaphorical radar, so to speak, throughout 2024, and beyond?

In case Ghana's traditional rulers aren't aware of it, for many landless base-of-the-pyramid-demographic youth, a revolution that results in the seizure, and nationalisation of all stool lands, and the  redistribution of same, would be a dream come true, which will finally end the baleful influence, of an institution they regard as a metaphorical nest of vipers.

With the  greatest respect, we are sitting on a social time bomb, oooo. Yooooooo.  That is why traditional rulers across our  Republic (without exception), need to be very, very careful, oooo, Ghanafuor. The clock is ticking for their enforced disappearance from our national life, oooo. Yoooooooo...

To be secure, in this new year, 2024, and beyond, their most trusted inner-circle advisors must make it clear to traditional rulers that it would be wise to be less visible, and less vocal, on the national stage,  and, to a man,  begin a new era of humble servant-leadership that empowers all societal demographics, equally, positively, across the entirety of the sovereign landmass of our Republic, oooo, Ghanafuor.   Yooooooooo...

What traditional rulers need to  always bear in mind, in a bankrupted nation, in the midst of an unprecedented cost of living crisis, a majority of whose citizens struggle daily, just to survive, is that most of the masses regard the Chieftaincy institution, as a corruption-riddled and  hidebound institution, which still enslaves people, and engages in secret ritual killings countrywide ( allegedly, according to bush telegraph sources).

Ditto that the Chieftaincy institution harbours arrogant and smug tribal-supremacists  -  who, in their view,  absurdly think that their particular ethnic group, regardless of where in Ghana their palaces are located, is superior to all other tribes in our unitary Republic, in which, per our Constitution, no tribe is inferior or superior to another.

They contrast what currently pertains in Ghana, as regards the beneficiaries of inherited privilege, traditional rulers,   with the situation in today's India, for that reason.

They are aware that  India's wise nationalist leaders, understood clearly, during their struggle to end Britain's occupation of their country, that if they didn't rid India of the baleful influence of its Maharajahs,  India  would continue to remain backward, even after gaining its independence from British colonial rule - and could never become a global power,  economically, militarily  and politically.

To such disenchanted base-of-the-pyramid  demographic youth, across Ghana, it is significant that India's wise and farsighted nationalist leaders, clipped the wings of their nation's privileged-elite,  their Maharajahs, and thereby made them powerless. It swiftly ended their baleful influence in Indian society - permanently.

Dear critical-reader, perhaps we are where we are today, as a bankrupted and highly indebted nation, precisely because we have failed, thus far, to understand that meritocracy's greatest enemy is inherited privilege, and must therefore rid ourselves of today's beneficiaries of inherited privilege, our traditional rulers?

In light of that, dear critical-reader, if our nation is to ever become a global power, too, perhaps we must, as wise and aspirational Africans,  do just as India did, in its post-independence journey, to the status of a global power today - and rid ourselves of Ghana's hidebound Chieftaincy institution, to end the baleful influence of what to many, is a metaphorical nest-of-vipers? No? Yes? Case closed? Full stop? Yoooooooo. A word to the wise...
