How can our country rid itself of the baleful influence of the vested interests responsible for corrupting Ghanaian officialdom? To be successful in so doing, we will need to put on our creative-thinking caps. Fast. For sure. And time is of the essence, in this matter.
To begin with, it needs to be pointed out, that there is no question that President Akufo-Addo is the best leader for Ghana's COVID-era. That is why as a wise and aspirational African people, we ought to take advantage, of that refreshing on-the-ground-reality.
We can do so by rallying behind President Akufo-Addo, and encourage him to unify our nation, for effective nation-building, by forcing him to appoint Mrs. Jean Mensah, the current chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), as an ambassador. Now. Not tomorrow. It will remove her from the political landscape - and help bring a morally untenable tension-creating-situation, to an end.
(For ordinary folk, the fact that legal-technicalities, can allow the chairperson of the EC, to get away with avoiding cross examination, by appearing in the witness box, in an open court, hearing an election petition, is an outrage and morally indefensible. Full stop. But I digress)
For the same reason, President Akufo-Addo, should also do same, in the case of: Mr. Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko; Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta and Hon.Yaw Osafo Marfo. Case closed. Such a move will finally wahala-free our country's hardworking leader, and enable him to focus on his very important job, with a free mind. Cool.
For our own good, and that of Mother Ghana, we must also force President Akufo-Addo - a wise and visionary leader, who is easily the next best elected leader, since the overthrow of the great President Nkrumah (whose equal is yet to be born, incidentally), in February 1966 - to, as a matter of urgency, set up a national security task force, led by the Engineers Regiment, of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
Their mission, will be to prevent a new trailblazing technology, which will soon power the entire human race, to unprecedented levels of prosperity, from leaving tbe shores of Ghana. Simple. Their immediate task, will be to convince the genius Ghanaian inventor, Raphael Afordoanyi, to allow the Stateto fund the patenting, globally, of his serendipitous, emission-free off-grid stand-alone clean power invention.
Once that is done, a joint-venture special purpose private public partnership (PPP) vehicle, must be quickly established, to market Raphael Afordoanyi's game-changing, cutting-edge technology that will enable all the nations on the planet Earth, to be powered 100 percent, by emis
