A Quick Note To Honourable Abaas Fusheini Sbaabe - On Effective Presidencies

Honourable,

Greetings. Massa, the mistake we often make, is that we fail to understand that the position of  Ghana Omanpanin, is one that though incredibly powerful, on paper, actually forces him,  or her, by definition, to rely on retainers whom, sadly for our nation,  often turn out to be either corrupt or arrogant (and, invariably, also incompetent, on top, too).

President Akufo-Addo, for example,  would be a much better leader, were the Yaw Osafo Marfos, the Nana Asante Bediatuos, the Gabby Asare Otchere-Darkos and  Ken Ofori-Attas, to serve him as ambassadors, posted to foreign lands, far away from Jubilee House and his Nima residence.

In your National Democratic Congress (NDC) party's case, perhaps former President John Dramani Mahama, would still be in power, today, if humble and wise young people like you, rather than geniuses like the Stan Dogbes, were his right hand men, at the Flagstaff House, when he had the opportunity to lead our country, ooooo,  Massa.

President Rawlings was an effective leader, because all the people around him knew that they wouldn't be spared if they tried to usurp his powers, like the Stan Dogbes did, yesteryear, and the Nana Asante Bediatuos are busy doing today.

For your information, President Rawlings,  also read the riot act to his family members -  making it  plain to all of them that if they messed up, he would not rescue them from their own foolishness, but that they would face the music,  just like any ordinary citizen would. It worked a treat, wai. His elder brother, Nii Addy, told me that, personally.
