That most Nigerians are dynamic and hardworking is beyond doubt. It would also be fair to say that the small proportion of the bad nuts amongst Nigerians living in Ghana, have ruined the image of the Nigerian community lawfully resident in Ghana.
To ensure continued good relations between Ghana and Nigeria, it is vital to root out the criminal elements amongst the Nigerians resident in Ghana. Ditto root out the criminal elements amongst Ghanaians living in Nigeria.
The question is: Why do the two nations not conduct joint registration excersises of their citizens living in each other's terriritory, as soon as practicable - and swiftly deport all those without valid documents?
It would appear that people-smugglers are making large profits bringing in Nigerians through unapproved land routes, to settle and work illegally in Ghana. That is intolerable. It must be halted. Now. Not tomorrow. Full stop.
According to bush-telegraph sources, criminal syndicates in the Gomoa Buduburam Camp Liberia refugee settlement area, are, allegedly, a key part of the people-smuggling value-chain of undocumented Nigerians into Ghana.
Those in charge of our national security, tasked to ensure the safety of our Republic, must quickly procure drones to enable the security agencies effectively monitor all our land borders 24/7. In an age of global pandemics, and interconnected terroritst organisations, we must not tolerate people-smuggling into Ghana, oooo. Yoooooooo...
