Earth Day Network: 2017: A momentous year, and you helped

Earth Day 2017 March for Science

Dear Friend,

2017 has been a momentous year for Earth Day Network. We gave life to the extraordinary Earth Day March for Science that saw our movement speak from the heart in favor of science fact not science fiction.

We've worked with partners across the world to plant tens of million of trees, a major down payment on our goal of planting 7.8 billion trees – one for every person on Earth – by the end of 2020. Our projects this year have planted trees and impacted people from downtown Dallas to the Boreal Forest of Canada, from the rugged mountains of Sierra Gorda, Mexico, to remote villages of India, Northern Uganda and Cameroon.

We've helped educate Indian youth and Panchayat women leaders, rural women and girls about environment and sustainable development. We've helped fund energy efficiency upgrades in US schools. Our goal is for every student to attend a safe healthy school and for climate education to be universal across the planet.

Together, we are helping millions of citizens find their voice and stand up to claim their right to a clean, safe and sustainable environment.

But our work is far from finished and we need your help to keep it going! Please take the opportunity to make an end-of-year donation to Earth Day Network so we can keep up the fight to save the planet!
