In a time of information warfare and heightened forms of propaganda online, media literacy is more important than ever.

For the past eight years, programs implemented by Internews have been advancing media education and literacy for Ukrainian educators, journalists, civil society and political activists and public officials. In 500 schools across Ukraine, teachers have helped students learn to identify fake news, and Ukrainians’ ability to spot paid media content has improved, according to the 2017 Media Consumption Survey.
