Positive Money: Please don't leave us!

Dear Reader,

On 25th May the law is changing - all organisations like ours must increase your data protection. This a good thing! But it means that unless you opt in now, you’ll no longer get updates from Positive Money about our campaigns, events and training opportunities.

To make sure you still get emails from Positive Money, please click this button now:

Eight years ago, Positive Money started talking about the privileged power private banks have to create money, and how that harms our society - from financial crashes, to huge inequality, to damaging our environment. There were just a couple of us in an office, and a handful of people around the country who started following our work and joining in the conversation.

Thanks to people like you who get our news, join in locally, and spread the word to your friends and family, there’s now thousands of us around the UK working together to build a mass movement of people calling for politicians to change our money and banking system

The only way we’re going to win is if we keep working together, and stay connected.

So,   please, spare 30 seconds now to tell us you still want to hear from us after 25th May:

This new law is called the General Data Protection Regulation. Overall it is a good thing. [1] It means private, public and non-profit companies won’t be able to hold people’s data without their explicit consent. Organisations will have to be much clearer with people about how they’ll use their data.

But it does mean you need to take a small action now if you want to stay connected with Positive Money. And of course we'd love to keep you on board. So please let us know you want to still hear from us now:

Thank you,

Rachel, Paul and the rest of the Positive Money team
