The weather is warming up, and we’re moving full-force into the most exciting season of the year! With warmer weather come family picnics, parties, grilling outdoors, playing sports and being generally active. But if you suffer from low energy levels, the prospect of having so many activities going on around you can seem a little daunting — especially once work, housework and other responsibilities are added into the mix.
If you have chronic low energy, it’s worth speaking to a healthcare professional about things that might be sapping your energy, such as adrenal fatigue or thyroid problems. But if you’ve ruled those things out — or if you do know you suffer from those problems, and want some mental hacks to aid you as you heal — affirmations can be a great way to boost your energy levels. Each morning, sit with your eyes closed in a comfortable place and repeat these mantras to yourself, focusing on the words every time you say them:
Love This? Never Miss Another Story.
“My body gives me the strength and energy I need to thrive.”
When your body doesn’t seem to be able to keep up with your mind, it’s important to gently encourage it to kick into a higher gear naturally. This affirmation reminds us that our bodies are still helping us wake up, move around, prepare food and do other daily activities. If our bodies can do that, they can surely give us the energy we need to thrive.
“My body is beautiful because it gives me the energy I need to enjoy my life.”
Sometimes, people suffering from low energy also feel a correlated lack of self-esteem. While it can be tempting to be hard on ourselves when we’re not as energetic as we’d like to be, it’s actually counterproductive. Instead, give your body some love. Focus on how wonderful it is that your body provides you with the energy you need to get through each day.
“I enjoy nourishing my body with sustaining, energy-boosting foods.”
A lot of times, energy levels are linked to dietary habits. If you’re working on cleaning up your diet, this affirmation can be a great way to stay centered on your health goals.
“I am amazed by my body’s ability to help me laugh, cry, feel, sleep, eat and breathe.”
Another trick that can help with lethargy is to remember how amazing our bodies are. They really do a lot of hard work to allow us to live! This affirmation is essentially an affirmation of gratitude for our bodies’ miraculous capabilities.
“I care for my body with nourishing sleep and mental rest.”
Finally, a lot of people suffer from low energy levels because they don’t have adequate rest. Rest doesn’t just mean sleep, either — relaxation and meditation are also essential, as a constantly running mind is often a drained mind. This affirmation helps instill the habit of self-care, which is essential for healthy energy levels.

Excellent, but you must also FEEL what you say, otherwise it will not work! Concentrate while you make these affirmations and even if only for a few seconds, be "there" in the positive, grateful place.
