**Agenda for African Landscapes gets an update**
Three years ago the African Landscapes Action Plan was endorsed by the
African Union. Since, we have seen notable accomplishments across the six
themes of Policy, Governance, Business, Finance, Research and Capacity
Development, but also noted areas where progress has stalled. LPFN partners
agreed that a major goal of the African Landscapes Dialogue

knowledge-sharing
event for highly motivated and deeply experienced African landscape leaders
and practitioners would be to revisit ALAP’s recommended actions to further
advance integrated landscape management.
Now, LPFN partners are excited to debut Phase 2 of the ALAP
<http://bit.ly/2xAXYzU> that summarizes progress on the original Action
Plan and establishes renewed priorities for advancing efforts to create and
maintain sustainable landscapes across Africa.
