No One Who Rips-Off Mother Ghana Today Will Get Away With It

If bush-telegraph-filla that some officials  at the presidency are allegedly busy exploiting their positions to make money for themselves, has some factual basis, then the more responsible sections of the Ghanaian media must henceforth be on red alert. Ebeeii. So soon? Haaba.

The question is: Have such self-seeking and hard-of-hearing government appointees forgotten that their regime was elected to govern our nation precisely because the vast majority of Ghanaians who  voted for the New Patriotic Party(NPP) in the December 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections, did so because they believed the party's campaign messages that implied that a regime led by President Akufo-Addo, would take all the necessary steps needed to halt high-level corruption in Ghana, once and for all? Amazing.

A few words of caution to those now in power for whom the cap fits, so to speak: It will be a huge error of judgement on the part of any of those appointed by President Akufo-Addo to help him fulfil the election campaign promises  he made to the people of Ghana, which won power for the NPP,  to think that they can enrich themselves at the expense  of Ghanaians and their nation and get away with it.

They will not get away with it.  Never. Ever. Full stop. So let no one in this regime think that pursuing a stealth-career as a secret member of the greedy-thieves-in-high-places-brigade will not end in tears and disgrace for him or her.  The days of impunity  are gone for good, for their information.  As it happens, today, anyone who rips-off Mother Ghana will pay for it by going to jail. Eventually. No question.
