Kofi Annan Will Be Remembered And Spoken Of Till The Very End Of Time

Black Africa's most influential diplomat, ever, the late Kofi Annan - who served two terms as UN Secretary General - was a diplomat's quintessence of the-top-diplomat and a gentleman's gentleman. His calm demeanor, and dignified bearing, won him the admiration and respect of all who interacted with him, in every continent of our one biosphere.

Humankind was well served  by him. Mr. Kofi Annan was a good and decent human being without an ounce of malice in him. Indeed, he was that rare thing: a very important man  (by every definition and all standards of measurement) who cared deeply about the plight of marginalised people wherever in the world they existed. He left a legacy that his family and our homeland Ghana can justifiably be proud of.

One commiserates with his wife,  offspring, and members of his extended family clan. If it is any consolation to  them, he will doubtless be remembered, and spoken of, till the very end of time.  Humankind has indeed lost a great man. May his soul rest in peace.
