Minerals Commission: Revoke All Gold Concessions On The P. E. Thompson Estate's 14-Square Mile Freehold Rainforest Property At Akyem Juaso

A rogue gold miner,  Hagnela Mining Company, owned by a guy known as Rasta, has reappeared on part of the P. E. Thompson Estate's 14-square mile freehold upland evergreen rainforest property, in the Akyem Juaso section of the Atewa Range. The damage that that thoroughly corrupt galamsayer has wreaked on our heavily-wooded rainforest property, since he reappeared,  is unbelievable.

That he has been able to resume his crooked business model, at our expense, yet again, at all, today, speaks volumes about the unfathomable  greed that drives illegal gold miners and illegal loggers (one and the same thing, incidentally) - and how their preparedness  to resort to paying bribes and corrupting all who stand in their way, enables them  to fend off officials of the gold mining sector's regulatory  bodies,  sent to halt their unlawful  operations.

Unfortunately, greedy criminals like Rasta, are destroying the legacy of President Akufo-Addo,  as a bold defender of Mother Nature, who, in fighting  to halt galamsay operations nationwide, even told the nation that it was a task he was determined to succeed at - even if it eventually cost him his presidency: in the 2020 presidential elections. Brave, gentleman. Good and farsighted leader. 

The Minerals Commission must revoke all the gold concessions on our freehold  private rainforest property - which were granted  to wealthy criminals during the Mahama-era, immediately. Nothing can justify that travesty. How can our private freehold forest property that we want to turn into an eco-tourism  destination be handed over to criminal-entrepreneurs to exploit without recourse to us, the lawful owners?  Haaba.

Had regulators actually visited what is an aboreous area bordering the  Atewa Forest Reserve, not degraded land denuded of trees, in what is part of a designated Globally Significant Biodiversity Area  (GSBA), in the Atewa Range, they would never have allowed any concession on our privately-owned freehold rainforest property. The time has now come for regulators to revoke all the gold concessions granted through bribery on the P. E. Thompson Estate's land in the  Akyem Juaso section of the Atewa Range. Haaba.
