Global Landscapes Forum Accra 2019 - Restoring Africa's Landscapes


The most important conference on forest and landscape restoration in Africa is just two weeks away: the Global Landscapes Forum Accra.
GLF Accra on 29-30 October, held back-to-back with AFR100, will spotlight how local communities have successfully translated restoration commitments into solutions for Africa’s pressing climate and development challenges.
Speakers include the Queen of Buganda, Sylvia Nagginda, musician and activist Rocky Dawuni, actress and philanthropist Joselyn Dumas, Chairperson for the Osukuru United Women’s Network, Constance Okollet and many more.
Climate and environment organizations like the World Bank, UN Environment, GIZ, UN FAO, IUCN, CIFOR and more will lead interactive sessions.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement.
