Nana Kodua Edjekumhene, you would weep, if I told you that a brilliant Ghanaian inventor, Raphael Afordoanyi, has a serendipitous energy sector invention, which could give Ghanaians electricity that is 50 percent cheaper than is currently the case, within a year. Massa, do you know what that means for Mother Ghana?
That could power our prosperity as a people by the end of the magnificent President Akufo-Addo's second term as our leader. But because he is an apolitical Black Ghanaian, and an African, with zero political connections, he won't ever be allowed to take over the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) - over which our mostly-clueless and hard-of-hearing political class are at each other's throats, even as we speak.
Yet, he is a world-class inventor, far smarter than all the greedy and super-wealthy individuals who tried to use Power Distribution Services (PDS) to hijack the assets of the ECG, at no cost to themselves, as a result of state-capture pork-barrel behind-the-scenes maneuvering. Hmmm, Oman Ghana, eyeasem ooooo - asem kesie ebeba debi ankasa.
It was an invention of Raphael Afordoanyi's, purloined by highly-placed Kufuor-era appointees, and secretly passed on to the American Eric Ingersoll, by Hon. K. T. Hammond, which won Ingersoll an Obama-era Champion of Change prize. Like the transformative free senior high school initiative, electricity tarrifs 50 percent cheaper than is currently the case, will help Nana Addo win the 2020 elections, without the need for any election-rigging-induced-violence. Imagine that.
If you love Mother Ghana as passionately as some of us do, and know the president personally, please whisper this information to him - so that the greedy people around him who see an opportunity to send their net worth to stratospheric heights in the privatisation of the ECG, won't get to hear it, and try to stop the president from asking to meet that brilliant Ghanaian inventor, Raphael Afordoanyi, whose new serendipitous invention could dramatically change our nation's prospects, within a year, by producing electricity at tarrifs 50 percent cheaper, than is currently the case. Hmmm Oman Ghana eyeasem ooooo - asem kesie ebeba debi ankasa!
