Should President Akufo-Addo Demand The Resignations Of Hon. Yaw Osafo-Marfo And Vice President Mahammadu Bawumia, Immediately?

My 100 percent support for President Akufo-Addo, stems from the fact that he actually understands the overarching  importance of protecting Ghana's natural heritage. That in the early stages of his presidency, he made it plain to the world, that he was prepared  to sacrifice the possibility of a second term, to ensure that galamsey was halted, is proof positive that he detests those destroying the GhanaIan countryside with such impunity.

Alas, unlike President Akufo-Addo, who gets it, Ghana's Senior Minister, Hon. Yaw Osafo Marfo, and Vice-President Bawumia, simply do not understand the importance of protecting Ghana's natural capital,  and leveraging it's value in low-carbon development deals - which is why those two   geniuses should not be managing Ghana's economy under any circumstances.

At a time of climate change, and the ample evidence from scientific researchers of its negative impact on the Ghanaian countryside, their lack of understanding of the value of natural capital, makes them  dangerous policymakers  - for they threaten the long- term well-being of Mother Ghana. There is no question that the planned destruction of the Atewa Forest Reserve, must be laid at their doorsteps.

And if that apocalyptic nightmare comes to pass, they will be roundly condemned by future generations of our people, as sure as day follows night. Those two well-educated climate-change-blockheads who think only of GDP growth, without ever considering what actually constitutes that growth,  in the  real  world, on the ground, so to speak, are not fit to be leaders at a time when the human race is endangered by the possibility of climate change reaching the tipping point of no return. They must be sacked immediately.

At a time of global warming, destroying the Atewa Forest Reserve in order to mine its poor-quality bauxite deposits, will be the single most stupid policy decision ever implemented, in the annals of Ghana's history, thus far. What we must rather plan for, is an integrated West African aluminium industry, whose value-chain includes bauxite supplies from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, shipped to Tema port for processing and smeltering by VALCO. Genius-morons. In light of all the above, President Akufo-Addo must demand the resignations of Hon. Yaw Osafo-Marfo and Vice President Mahammadu Bawumia, immediately. Full stop. Haaba.
