Happy New Year 2024 to all community-spirited neighbourhoods across Ghana

Dear critical-reader, one wishes a Happy New Year 2024, to all community-spirited neighbourhoods, across the entire sovereign landmass of our Republic, on the cusp of presidential and parliamentary elections year 2024.

Which brings one to the very interesting subject of what a huge difference, kind and generous-hearted community members make, when emergencies, such as burst waterpipes that partially flood neighbourhood roads, occur, lol.

We had one such emergency, yesterday, in our idyllic Central Regional rural community housing estate, of Gomoa Buduburam, as it happens, dear critical-reader. Mr. and Mrs. Obeng and Mr. Kweku Otoo and his wife and children, and our area plumber, Mr. Bernard Essel (aka Kweku Plumber), we salute you, wai!

Naturally, at such times, the kindness of compassionate and generous-hearted neighbours, can be contrasted sharply with the complainers-in-chief-types, who can be relied upon to seize the sudden opportunity to stir things up, with their sourpuss-negativity, by targeting neighbours whom they have grudges against, lol. Such is life.

Yet still, as we enter the new year, 2024, one prays for all neighbouhood complainers-in-chief-types, and hope that by this time next year, they may have finally seen the light, and ceased holding grudges against others, lol. Life is too short to waste energy bearing grudges, lol. Happy New Year 2024, to all community-spirited neighbourhoods across our beautiful and bountiful homeland Ghana!

NDC: There are no sacred cows in today's Ghanaian political world

Dear critical-reader, the leadership of the largest opposition party in Ghana,  the National Democratic Congress (NDC), need to understand clearly that there are no longer any  sacred cows, in the Ghanaian political world, of today.

Ditto that their party will not return to power again,  if it does not prove to Ghanaians that it is a government-in-waiting, with the requisite policies in place,  to enable it create a prosperous and equitable society that benefits all societal demographics, equally, and has the requisite political will, to deal with allegations of high level corruption, by tackling it head on.

Above all, they must demonstrate to Ghanaians, that they will have the needed  resolve, when in power, to prevent powerful individuals from hijacking our system, for use as a state capture rent-seeking asset, to enable them send their personal net worth to stratospheric heights at the expense of ordinary people and their beloved  Mother Ghana - as has been the case under the current regime of President Akufo-Addo: whose tenure as President has been disastrous for Ghanaians and Mother Ghana, because of the unparalleled high level corruption we have witnessed thus far.

A political party whose leading lights respond to demands for light to be shone on the corruption allegations apparently levelled against former President John Dramani Mahama,  as regards the purchase of a previously owned military transport plane, manufactured and converted by the European aircraft manufacturer,  Airbus, for the Ghana Air Force, must not take the unhelpful and arrogant  attitude, once taken by Hon. Murtala Mohammed.

It will be recalled, dear critical-reader, that  when the subject was brought up by the host of a GHOne television current affairs discussion programme, Lantam Papanko, once upon a time, not too long ago, Hon. Murtala  Mohammed, threw a tantrum on live television  -  as if somehow it was a taboo subject that no one had the right, in the Ghana of today,  to raise, oooo,  Ghanafuor, lol. Hmmm, 3y3asem  oooo...

In that regard, it would be far more beneficial for the NDC,  if former President Mahama rather elected to tell the nation, the whole truth about that particular scandal.

If the bald truth, is that he did in fact  take a kickback, not for himself, personally,  but for the NDC as a corporate entity, then he ought to beg for forgiveness, from Ghanaians for that acknowledged error of judgment, on his part - which he himself  did once  allude to, in a cryptic answer to the host of the BBC current affairs programme, Panorama, when he responded, with a question of his own, to the host, who asked him if he had ever been involved in acts of corruption, by asking the host if he meant his being personally corrupt.

That display of honesty, by former President Mahama, will endear him to many Ghanaians, who will admire his honesty, in stark contrast to the endless denials of allegations of high level corruption made against the current  state-capture rent-seeking big-thieves-in-high-places,  who dominate our byzantine system, by the presidency, under today's ruinious government-of-the-day.

For the information of the NDC's leadership, dear critical-reader, there are no sacred cows, now, in as far as transparency in debating policy options,  and addressing allegations of high level corruption made against high-and-mighty individuals, are concerned, in today's Ghanaian political world, oooo, Ghanafuor. Case closed. Full stop.  Yooooooooo...

Will voters turf out the ruling NPP from power in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections?

Dear critical-reader, one wonders whether or not, voters will turf out the ruling NPP from power, in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

As it happens, ordinary Ghanaians are a mostly patient lot, who, for the sake of ensuring that their Motherland continues to remain a peaceful nation, in which citizens can co-exist happily, side by side, have remained long-suffering for the duration of 8-year cycles, while waiting for the opportunity to boot out successive governments-of-the-day, from power, in national elections to select new parliamentarians, and a new president, for their Republic, since the 4th Republic came into being in 1992.

It also has to be pointed out, that of all the many sins of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) regime of President Akufo-Addo, the most egregious, has to be the disgraceful revisionist attempt, by today's progeny of Dr. J. B. Danquah, who currently  dominate our system, to rewrite our pre-independence history.

Yes, Dr. J. B.Danquah was a highly intelligent gentleman, who was a scholar of some note. No question. That cannot be taken away from him, and no sane educated Ghanaian, for party political point-scoring reasons, should engage in what would amount to intellectual dishonesty, by not accepting that bald historical fact.

However, in terms of his contribution (or lack thereof), to the fight for freedom from foreign rule during the British colonial era,  far from being a fighter for independence, in the struggle to rid ourselves of the British occupiers of our Motherland, Dr. J. B. Danquah, was in fact, a fifth columnist, who was a known paid human-asset of sundry Western intelligence agencies, which, like him, actively sought the physical elimination of Kwame Nkrumah, by any means deemed necessary, for that dark end, at that material time.

To call such a turncoat, and traitor, of the very worst kind, a hero of our struggle for independence, is an insult to the memory of all the farsighted and wise voters, who, in elections in 1951, 1954 and 1956, rejected Danquah and Co's vision of a post independence African nation-state, which would be a federation, dominated by elitist individuals.

That would-be intolerable-abomination, was meant to be a federal state made up of pre-colonial tribal entities, which would exist for the state-capture rent-seeking benefit, of the progeny of that era's ruling elites, at that material time, and collaborative non-royal educated elitist individuals, who happened to be wealthy property owners. Hmmm, 3y3nsem piiii, oooo, Ghanafuor.

It also has to be pointed out, dear critical-reader, that neither did Dr. J. B. Danquah win any election that he contested in, as a candidate, after Ghana gained its independence, in 1957. Ordinary people in our Motherland Ghana, aren't stupid, koraaa, oooo. Yoooooooo...

That is why they will turf out today's greed filled progeny, of the selfsame traitor, and turncoat, Dr. J. B. Danquah, who now dominate our byzantine system, riddled with unprecedented high-level corruption, and have grown super-rich from bankrupting Mother Ghana, to enable them send their personal net worth, to stratospheric heights, at society's expense. The sods.

Furthermore, it is obvious, and plain as daylight, dear critical-reader, that having experienced life under Dr. J. B. Danguah's present-day progeny, most Ghanaians now understand perfectly, why the selfless Nkrumah, not the self-seeking Dr. J. B. Danquah, is in the Pantheon of the 20th Century's greatest leaders, and will draw needed lessons from that, accordingly.

For that, and many other reasons, too numerous to list in this shortish piece, dear critical-reader, as sure as day follows night, the vast majority of voters will elect to cast votes to end the NPP'S disastrous big-thieves-in-high-places-governance, in polling station, after polling station, in the December 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections!

Why is there a dearth of creative thinkers in Ghana?

Dear critical-reader to what failing in Ghanaian traditional cultures, can be ascribed the dearth of original thinkers, amongst our country's greed-filled and super-ruthless ruling-elites?

A study of truly innovative world-class individuals, whose bleeding-edge original-thinking, impacts societies in transformative fashion, shows that, very often, they are invariably contrarians, who don't fit into the descriptive-categorisation "normal people". Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla are two world famous  Global North examples who have passed away.

It's therefore not surprising that being a hidebound society, in virtually every community one ventures into, across the entirety of the sovereign landmass of the Republic of Ghana, the few such eccentric contrarians, who don't fit into the descriptive-categorisation "normal people", are derided, hated with a passion and gossiped about in the cruellest of fashions, endlessly, lol.

Indeed, one can confidently opine that what your average Ghanaian fears the most, is to be thought of as being different, because they don't fit into the descriptive-categorisation "normal people", lol. Hmmm, 3y3asem, oooo, Ghanafuor.

Little wonder then that curiosity is beaten out of brilliant and precocious children, who behave differently, and frequently ask (busy-doing-nothing-constructive, lol) adults, question after question.

And we wonder, dear critical-reader, why our ruling elites aren't creative thinkers, lol. It's not for nothing that there is a dearth of creative thinkers in Ghana, oooo, Ghanafuor. Our hidebound traditions have everything to do with that societal deficit, alas, lol. Hmmm, Oman Ghana   -  3y3asem oooo...

Should boarding schools be transformed into day schools - to cut off the breeding grounds of homosexuality in Ghana?

Dear critical-reader, should  boarding schools nationwide be transformed into world-class community day schools - to permanently cut off the breeding grounds of homosexuality in Ghana?

As it happens, it is an open secret in Ghana that boarding schools are the breeding grounds of homosexuality in our beloved country  -  a known fact that many school children in their early teens are aware of, across the entire landmass  of our Republic, if truth be told.

In that light, as wise and aspirational Africans, the question to ponder over is: Instead of focusing solely on rushing to get Parliament to pass anti-LGBTQI+ laws, why did the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values, not first suggest to their super-wealthy foreign backers, that to successfully  uproot homosexuality in Ghana, it would be essential for them to fund the transformation of all public boarding schools into world-class day community second cycle institutions?

Ditto asked their super-wealthy foreign bankrollers for additional funding, to enable  yet more new world-class day second cycle schools to be constructed nationwide, to ensure that children in their formative years, can stay at home to imbibe Ghanaian family values, and have access to nearby world-class community day second cycle schools, at the same time? Haaba.

Would that not have been an acceptable quid pro quo outcome, beneficial to Ghanaian society, generally, and a suitable slap in the face for the foreign powers blackmailing African nations to force them from passing laws outlawing sexual intercourse between individuals of the same gender?

Foreign diplomats accredited to Ghana, need to understand clearly,  and accept the fact that no truly patriotic Ghanaian approves of such publicly issued arrogant-defunding-threats from the representatives of foreign powers in our homeland Ghana, to our nation's hard-of-hearing ruling elites, oooo, lol. Yoooooooo...

However,  one also needs to make the point that as compassionate beings, who are mere mortals who aren't without sin ourselves,  we must also aspire to work hard to ensure that our beautiful and bountiful country, continues to remain a peaceful and tolerant society, in which the citizenry are free to live the lifestyles they choose for themselves, within the law, as long as it doesn't harm others. Yooooooo...

Surely, dear critical-reader,
that aspiration aligns perfectly with  Article 12[2]  of the 1992 Constitution, which states that: “Every person in Ghana, whatever his race, place of origin, political opinion, colour, religion, creed or gender shall be entitled to the fundamental human rights and freedoms of the individual contained in this Chapter but subject to respect for the rights and freedoms of others and for the public interest.”?

Finally, dear critical-reader, we must let the word go forth, henceforth, that we are not barbarians in this country, oooo, Ghanafuor: Instead of encouraging the stigmatisation  of our nation's LGBTQI+ demographics,
and tolerating physical attacks on them, let's show them compassion and understanding - and rather focus on the task of transforming all boarding schools into day schools nationwide: and in so doing, cut off the known breeding grounds of homosexuality in Ghana, permanently. That's a more creative approach in one's humble view, lol. No? Yes? Hmmm, 3y3nsem piiiii, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yoooooooo...

Would low tax rates globally for humankind's 1% super rich spark prosperity worldwide?

Happy Holidays dear critical-reader. One also wishes Happy Holidays to all activists around the world, who fight daily, for the rights and well-being of base-of-the-pyramid demographics, globally.

That said, here is a creative contrarian idea that the world's activists can ruminate on during the Yuletide, which one hopes might help provide some of the resources needed for transforming the world into a more prosperous and equitable place, globally, which benefits humankind's base-of-the-pyramid demographics, too, in all the seven continents of the imperilled biosphere that is our common home:

It will be interesting, dear critical-reader, to know what disaster exactly would befall activists around the globe, in 2024, if we saw incentivising the world's 1% super rich to pay their fair share of taxes, as a common good cause to advocate for - and, in that light, recommended setting tax rates so low globally that it would make the world's 1% super rich, see regular full payment of their taxes worldwide, not as damaging to the wealth creation process; but rather see it as a clever step that enables them to contribute effectively, to making the planet Earth a much, much better place for all its societal demographics?

Dear critical-reader the question to ponder over is: Will incentivising the world's 1% super rich by setting tax rates incredibly low, globally, make sense - and would it work effectively to spark prosperity worldwide in practice, which would also benefit all humanity's base-of-the-pyramid demographics, too, everywhere humans inhabit globally? Doable? Yes? No?

Spectacular adventure park gem added to Legon Botanical Gardens

Yewura Odisika Master-Planner1, Kofi Boakye-Yiadom, one gather's that yet another spectacular adventure park gem, has now been added by you and your hardworking team, to our capital city,  Accra's beautiful fresh oxygen-laden-air-enveloped green haven, Legon Botanical Gardens. Wow. Bravo.

Massa, to turn a botanical garden in a university in urban Ghana, into a prime example of how protecting our natural heritage can yield economic, health and social benefits, isn't easy, in an environment in which greedy and powerful individuals covet public green spaces, to exploit for personal gain, at society's expense.

Yewura Kofi, we admire and appreciate you for your pioneering role, in using a profitable green economy social impact public private partnership  (PPP) business model, to show Ghana's brightest and best younger generation entrepreneurs that protecting nature can be a very profitable commercial undertaking.

We salute you for that, Yewura Kofi. It's a priceless private sector legacy for any CEO to have and treasure. Kudos to you. Merry Christmas to you, your loving family and friends, as well as the amazing hardworking loyal team members,  with whom you continue to deliver so much societal-value, with unmatched elbow grease, in a Global South capital city in sub-Saharan Africa, said to have some of the world's worst air-quality-metrics. Wu  y3 bue, ankasa, wai!

Happy Holidays food for thought for Elon Musk

Dear Global Adjumawurafourhene1, Nana Elon Musk, one gathers that MTN Ghana has approached you to discuss a Starlink presence in Ghana, through it, lol.

With the greatest respect, whatever you do, do not parley with MTN Ghana. It is a rip-off teleco that has unashamedly cheated Ghanaian consumers for yonks. One kids you not, lol.

For your information, MTN Ghana has been ruthlessly exploiting its sector leadership, to run a lousy network.

Truth be told, to call it unreliable, would be a charitable understatement. It has gotten away thus far, with a vile corporate C-suit marketing culture of endlesely running promotions to entice more subscribers, instead of directing resources to its engineers to ensure that customers can have reliable voice and data usage.

Rather buy the sods out, if you must - or better still, rather buy Vodafone from the government of Ghana for USD5 billion, ditto make Glo Ghana Limited's Nigeria owner, Mike Adenuga, an offer he cannot refuse, at USD3 billion to take it over.

You can then merge the two to become the EverythingXApp's African vehicle for the provision of telecommunications and mobile money services, accros the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Please note that the AfCFTA is the largest free trade area in the world, when measured by the number member nations: 55.

It connects 1.3 billion people across those 55 member nations, and has a combined GDP of US$3.4 trillion. Underpin it with Starlink, which you could use to provide ambitious and hardworking young people across Africa, and the rest of the world, to become micro tech startup entrepreneurs, providing truly affordable community WiFi services giving Internet access to base-of-the-pyramid demographics globally, lol. Full stop. Case closed. Simple. No? Yes?

In any case, Happy Holidays to you, your hardworking teams collaborating with you to make a success of your various projects, and your own loved ones, too, wai, Global Adjumawurafuorhene1!

A Happy Holidays quick note to U. S. Senator Ted Cruz

Senator, please note thst it is not about size, oooo, lol. Neither is it about stamina, either. Technique is what it is actually all about. Using a correct technique ensures multiple orgasms for females of the species. Always, lol. Cool. Simple.

With the greatest respect, Senator,  the fact of the matter is that sadly, zillions of females are going to their graves without ever once experiencing an orgasm, precisely because of falsities, such as your fallacious nonsense about Liberal women and the size of their men's "weenies". How ridiculous. Senator, you are clearly out of your depth, here, oooo, wai, lol.

Please focus instead on helping to pass cross-party legislation that empowers ordinary folk regardless of their societal demographic, wai, lol. Men. How typical. So often arrogantly daft, lol.

As it happens, Senator, an even more dangerous American societal-poison (to use a phrase pregnant with meaning), is the pink elephant in the room, which  no one in what is a misogynistic society, wants to either notice or discuss  -  male sexual incompetence, lol.

It is an all-enveloping-miasma spreading rapidly across America. It is spawning a huge army  of mostly unhappy, hypocritical self-righteous female cultural-wars-ogres, who are fascists and rabid racists (many involved in yet-to-be-exposed sexual scandals).

They are a shrill  messianic force, without an ounce of compassion in them,  who are forever  telling others how to live, and are playjng prominent roles in the ongoing partitioning and coralling  of ordinary Americans, to facilitate a racist Trumpist fascist dictatorship.

Like you, they are unwittingly facilitating what will eventually lead to a racist and fascist dictatorship, which, like that of Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany, on which it has been modeled, will gobble all of them up, one by one,  along with their elite male counterpart Trumpist enablers, when Trump finally consolidates his hold on power, after the  2024 presidential elections, ooooo, Senator, lol. Don't say you weren't warned when that starts happening and finally reaches you, too, oooo, lol. Yooooooooo...

Should the African Military High Command be tasked to help deliver election materials to polling stations on time in all member nations?

Dear critical-reader, in a continent in which there is consensus that democracy is the best governance system, and therefore ought to be empowered to thrive,  should the African Union  (AU),  not task the African Military High Command, to help deliver election materials to polling stations on time in all member nations?

The Democratic Republic of Congo, a potential global power, is now holding national elections to select local, regional and national leaders, even as we speak.

The question that wise and aspirational Africans ought to ponder over is: If we want democracy to thrive across the continent, is a potentially powerful and wealthy African nation, such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo  (and, for that matter, every other nation in the continent of Africa), not  deserving of assistance from all its sister nations that are member nations of the AU, to empower its  election officials to deliver election materials to all polling stations, during nationwide elections in which duly registered  voters, can select their leaders, democratically,  in a free and fair election?

The bald truth, is that delivering election materials to all polling stations in every democratic nation on the continent, on time,  has always been a logistical nightmare. That's understandable for Civvy Street officialdom.

Yet, if we think creatively, we will wake up to the fact that that logistical  nightmare, which African Civvy Street officialdom  have to contend with, in AU member nations ,  could actually be suitably repurposed,  and underpinned by assistance from African militaries, and smoothly executed, across the continent. Simple.

Delivering election materials to tens of thousands of polling stations, simultaneously, is a logistical task for which all African  militaries are eminently suited.

A core part of military planning that ensures effective and efficient execution of all strategic missions alloted the three  armed services, that make up African armed forces, by their High Commands, is logistical planning and execution.

They are key and pivotal parts of national Military High Commands' mission-success-assuarance architecture,  when strategising  for deploying units  from all their three armed services (i.e. armies, air forces and navies), which combine to form national armed forces,  tasked to defend their nations' sovereign territories.

In light of all the above, dear critical-reader, one's humble opinion, as a commited Pan-Africanist (who believes that democratic governance will anchor the coming African Renaissance, which the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), now makes inevitable),  is that  the time has now definitely come for the AU to task the African Military High Command, to plan for missions across the continent, to help local  electoral commssion officials to deliver election materials to polling stations across Africa, on time, during national elections, in all AU member nations. Simple. Case closed. A word to the wise. Yoooooooooo...

Are honest individuals seen as existential-threats by the greedy elites who dominate Ghana?

Dear critical-reader, are principled and honest individuals seen by the powerful and ruthless greed-filled elites who dominate Ghana's Machiavellian system, as existential-threats to be silenced and eliminated if  possible?

Truth be told, in our kafkaesque society, in which apparently respectable professionals (judged by their deeds, not their words), are in reality, super wealthy villains, whose enormous wealth is bedrocked on the egregious crimes of self-dealing and profiting unlawfully, as fiduciaries, from valuable  insider-information, honest individuals are seen as intolerable risks to eliminate.

That is why all honest individuals are regarded throughout our system, as barriers posing an intolerable existential-risk, to the wealth creation ambitions of Ghanaian society's outwardly respectable super wealthy criminals, who endanger their solid-gold-goals, of sending their net worth to stratospheric heights at society's expense, and thus have to be neutralised and eliminated from our capricious system, at all costs.

All the trials and tribulations of Issa Ouedraogo, the principled and honest orphan-made-good founder, of the unique profit-sharing agrisector organic social impact business, B-BOVID, since his return to Ghana (after a long sojourn abroad, who chose, upon his return home, to establish a social impact business as a way of giving back to society, for his good fortune in life, from savings regularly put aside, from his six-figure salaries earned working overseas), have stemmed mostly from his refusal to compromise his integrity, by joining the luxuriously appointed corruption-gravy-train, which is wrecking the enterprise Ghana (from metaphorical derailment upon derailment, in the grifter-networks run by insider-dealing and self-dealing respectable looking lawyers, bankers, sundry consultants, accountants, etc., etc), jam-packed with big-thieves-in-high-places, who see Ghana as their private asset to be exploited for their sole benefit.

It is in that light, and within the context of which, one has to view, the incredible frying-pan-to-fire story, of the trails and tribulations suffered by Issa Ouedraogo, as he fought bravely over the years, to ensure that not only would his social impact business, B-BOVID, survive, but that it would also thrive and show Ghana, and the rest of Black Africa, how food security and shared-prosperity across rural Ghana, could be secured, through building value chains whose smallholder farmer stakeholders, could be empowered to self-bootstrap their way out of poverty, to financial independence, by diversifying their income streams using climate smart agroforestry principles. It's a shabby and unsavoury tale, sadly,  dear critical-reader.

The long list of opaque corporates, and morally bankrupt C-Suit professionals, who took advantage of Issa Ouedraogo, in the most ruthless of fashions, in their quest to sideline him and shorn themselves off him, reads like a who is who, of Ghana's private sector's financial services sector. It is proof positive that honest and principled individuals, are seen as existential-threats, by the greedy and hard-of-hearing elites that dominate the enterprise Ghana and are robbing it blind.

Trump's coming tyranny

Dear critical-reader, as sure as day follows night, once Trump consolidates his hold on power, after his re-election as President, in 2024, he will dump the rule of law, and ignore the constitutional guardrails ensuring liberty in the land of the free.

At that stage, alas, no one will be safe in America, as it becomes a tyranny that brooks no dissent, in which dissenters simply disappear.

As was the case in Nazi Germany where fear cowed a whole nation into sheep-like obedience because defiance of the tyrant was always at the pain of death.

Today's MAGA Trump elite-enablers of all hues, shapes and sizes, as well as the zillions of decent ordinary folk, whose delusion is that Trump is America's saviour, ought to let that sink in, while there's still time for all of them to avoid such a fate through the ballot box, between now and polling day, November 2024, lol. Yooooooo...

A quick note to the Electricity Company of Ghana

Dear ECG, we recently paid you GHC245. After receiving a text message acknowledging that, shortly afterwards, no follow-up status message indicating the current state of the account has been sent. Why is that?

The question is: Who owes who - do you still owe us the Ghc 851 that is an overpayment from past so-called estimated readings - plus the recently paid GHc245, on top of that, anaaa? Yes? No? Haaba.

Perhaps the time has now come for dissatisfied electricity consumers, outraged by the greed of the private contractors, to whom you have outsourced the meter reading task, and are deliberately cloaking their rip-off of consumers, through the huge figures on the bill payment demand notices sent to affected consumers (at times, it even apparently results in the disconnection of ECG-issued meters), of unwary consumers, although they are based on totally inflated estimates, to strike back, by filing class action law suits, in the law courts, against the ECG nationwide, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yooooooooo...

As wise Africans, the question that we ought to ponder over is: How come that when a meter reader gains access to an ECG-issued meter in a property, it is alleged that an estimated reading has taken place? Surely, logically, and legally, it is an actual consumption figure that has been read, in such an instance, ECG, not an estimate? Haaba.

For private sector meter reading entities' employees to inflate such figures, is to defraud electricity consumers across Ghana, in their employers' relentless pursuit of fat commissions, regardless, pure and simple. That's unconscionable, oooo,  ECG. Full stop. No question. Yooooooooo...

ECG, it's in your own longterm best interests,  to act swiftly, to stop all your outsourced private meter reading entities, from henceforth cheating innocent electricity consumers (some of whom are senior citizens who are retirees living on smallish pensions), through so-called estimated readings that are in actual fact, actual-consumption-readings at particular material times, so to speak. Yooooooooo...

ECG, perhaps you are not aware of just how stressful that can be for the victimised-elderly, who are frail, and thus unable to travel to your district offices to seek redress in such instances? Be careful, oooo, ECG. Enough really is enough, oooo, wai. Yooooooo. A word to the wise...

What are some of the key prerequisites for a successful transition to a 24-hour econony?

What, dear critical-reader, are some of the pivotal prerequisites, for a successful transition to a 24-hour economy, in any plan anchoring it?

To begin with, aside from round the clock power supply, the bulk of which ought to be emission-free off-grid renewal green  power, and the availability of treated water supplies nationwide, 24/7, 365 days annually,   security needs to be available, and assured, too, 24/7 365 days, annually, in order to make all the hours in the 24-hour economy,  safe to work in, and carry out business, in, does it not, dear critical-reader?

In that light, one of the key ideas is to merge all the non military security agencies into a fourth armed service, of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), personnel of which will enjoy the same terms and conditions of employment given to those of the three existing armed services, the Army, Navy and Air Force.

By merging the Ghana Police Service, the Ghana Immigration Service, the Ghana Prison Service and the Ghana National Fire Service, into the Homeland Force, its personnel in the Homeland Force's specialised units, can act in unison, whenever that is necessary, in dealing with emergency situations.

The Commander of the Homeland Force, will also join the rotational-que for becoming the Chief of the Defence Staff of the Military High Command, of the Ghana Armed Forces.

Of necessity, too, will be swift  measures to decriminalise certain misdemeanours and crimes,  such as passing legislation to decriminalise smoking, and dealing, in marijuana or India hemp. Ditto allow farming industrial hemp to  also be legalised nationwide. The freed resources currently deployed to fight those crimes, can then be used by the Homeland Force, to ensure security for a nation running a 24-hour economy. Simple.

Passing legislation making the farming of  Indian hemp, and industrial hemp, lawful agrisector ventures, across Ghana, will also help  increase tax revenues  considerably, and widen the tax net exponentially,  too, will they not, dear critical-reader - while increasing the quantum of resources allocated to the nation building task by governments of the day? Yes? No?  Simple.

Furthermore,  dear critical reader, it would  appear that the farming, processing and exporting of  products made from manufacturing Indian hemp  and industrial hemp, could also generate jobs galore, create wealth for local green economy entrepreneurs, which will help transform rural Ghana into a prosperous  and happy part of our Republic, ditto help balance our perennial negative trade balance,   and increase our GDP significantly, on top, too, oooo, Ghanafuor. Simple.

Another key prerequisite for a 24-hour economy,  will be to improve productivity in businesses nationwide, as well as putting Ghana on the world map, by lowering tax rates sufficiently, to make Ghana the nation with the world's lowest personal, and corporate tax rates  (a miniscule 4% in both cases), to help  make the 24-hour economy idea,  an innovation whose time has  finally now come, lol. Simple.

Another prerequisite of the 24-hour economy,  is legislation to lower the legal age of workers to 16, and allowing that demographic to vote at that selfsame age, too,  for candidates of their choice  (to be restricted to candidates selected in primaries, by the only legally  permitted two state sponsored political parties to be allowed to operate in Ghana, henceforth - the United Party, of the colonial era opposition leader,  the late Professor Kofi Abrefa Busia, who became Ghana's leader in the 3rd Republic, and  the Convention People's Party, of President Nkrumah, both of which will be the only political parties allowed and required to form governments of national unity, in order to attract full public funding of the entirety of their operations,  after every 6-year presidential and parliamentary voting cycle ends, and a new President (whose Cabinet and other ministers will not be parliamentarians),   and new parliamentarians, are sworn into office, will ensure peace and stability, in all parts of the landmass of our sovereign Republic. Simple.

Last,  but not the least, dear critical-reader, will be to  get all the Global North nations to work closely with the African Union, and Ghana, to cost and draw up plans for paying in advance,  at least USD5 billion,  to implement a Ghanaian equivalent, and version, of the Marshall Plan that America drew up, to fund the rebuilding of Europe, after the Second World War, to  transform the Central Region's Gomoa Buduburam Camp Liberia refugee settlement area, into a world-class purpose built climate resilient  green refugee settlement town,  built in concentric rings around a core green adventure park, with forested high rise apartment blocks sited in walled compounds, with fruit forest gardens, and a concrete dualised road network, all lined with fruit trees, such as coconuts, mangoes,  oranges, breadfruit, papaya, bananas, guava, oil palm fruit, etc., etc.,  where refugees who are from all Global South nations, deported from Global North nations, can be given temporary asylum, in, till they can be returned safely to their own home  nations, voluntarily - and all of whom will be allowed to find jobs,  and create businesses, in the 24-hour economy, too. Simple. All the aforementioned, dear  critical-reader, are some  of the pivotal requirements for a successful transition to a 24-hour economy. Full stop. Case closed. A word to the wise - yooooooooo...

Let us dump a dispiriting false narrative about today's Black Africa

Dear critical-reader, one simply refuses to buy into a dispiriting false narrative, about today's Africans, meant to keep Africa down and permanently malleable for endless exploitation by ruthless foreigners for their sole benefit.

With the greatest respect, let's dump this dispiriting narrative that has never actually been true, that somehow Africans are inferior beings who are ignorant, wai, Ghanafuor. Yoooooooo...

Hon. Kojo Yankah, for example, is a world-class achiever, who not only founded a well-respected tertiary institution, but has also served as a government minister and chairs sundry boards of directors for different entities, even as we speak. He is full of self confidence and has abundant self belief, has he not, I ask? Haaba.

Then there is also Kofi Boakye-Yiadom, Ghana's foremost green entrepreneur, and our green economy's wealthiest hedonist, who works incredibly hard, loves partying hard too, after work, and is passionate about bike racing, and is widely respected in the global challenge park sector. Ditto has an amazing collection of super-expensive bicycles. Is he not a world-class individual with abundant self-belief. too, I ask? Haaba.

Then there is Ms. Anne Sackey, an incredibly beautiful head-turning, proud female Amazon-Queen-type, whose empowering demographic, carry our nation on their slendour shoulders, and partly make up the amazing world-class talent pool, which no one who sets foot, for the first time, on the coastline of Nkrumah's beautiful Ghana, will fail to recognise. Is Anne not a world-class solid-achiever-type, too, I ask? Haaba.

Finally, dear critical-reader, let's work hard to stop those who spread a dispiriting-narrative, meant to create despondency, and loss of pride, in Africans, by ill-intentioned foreigners, keen to keep Africa down and permanently remaining malleable, for endless exploitation by others for their sole benefit, wai, Ghanafuor. Full stop. Case closed. Yoooooooo...

Greedy Ghanaian lawyers destroying Mother Ghana: hmmm, 3y3nsem piiii, oooo, Ghanafuor

Dear critical-reader, is the question that as wise and aspirational Africans we must ponder over not: Why is no one in Ghana still publicly not asking who exactly are the lawyers who were amongst  the professional advisors paid handsome fees to  betray Mother Ghana, in the latest particularly egregiously one-sided lithium mining  deal?

Ditto who exactly were the lawyers who helped draft all the  daft oil agreements that should all be torn up, by the next government, after it assumes power in January, 2025 - because they are all unconscionable partnership agreements, secured by big brown envelope kickbacks distributing lobbyists, without a shadow of doubt?

With the greatest respect,  that is why a case  must  be filed in the law  courts, swiftly, on behalf of Mother Ghana (against all the foreign oil companies that have cheated our nation for so long, using the so-called hybrid oil agreements), so as to enable our next leaders tear  up what are unconscionable oil and gas agreements, after January 2025. Full stop.  A word to the wise...

That said,  perchance, is that why the foreign oil companies that  own blocks in the Jubilee oil fields, rushed to meet with President Mills, after he won power and succeeded President Kufuor in January 2009,  and informed  him  that  they were happy and  willing, to give legal fronts acting for him personally, small percentages, in their oil blocks?

If only President Mills had had the presence of mind, at that material  time, and  ordered their immediate arrest in his office,  instead of subsequently complaining bitterly to the then US ambassador to Ghana afterwards, at that material time, perhaps high level corruption wouldn't have become so rampant and pervasive that the current cohort of greed-filled big-thieves-in-high-places, who now dominate our byzantine system, wouldn't have ended  up bankrupting Nkrumah's resource-rich Ghana, because borrowing money enriched them at society's expense, and enabled them send their personal net worth to  stratospheric heights,  oooo, Ghanafuor. Yooooooo...

Finally, dear critical-reader,  could  our nation not have secured production sharing agreements, instead of the daft so-called hybrid production sharing model foisted on us by wily and canny super-corrupt foreign oil companies - whereby such  foreign oil companies would self-finance the entirety of the expensive cash-guzzling process of the  exploration and drilling of oil deposits, and subsequently be repaid by Ghana,  with barrels of oil, for the privilege of so doing. Could we not  also refined the oil here in Ghana, ourselves, too, l ask, Ghanafuor? Would we have been led into the predicament of importing crappy refined fuel products, in an opaque 'gold-for-oil' deal with Emerati domiciled entities run from the shadows by boastful rogues,   exposed by Al Jazeera investigators, as grifters-supreme,  similarly  ripping-off our Zimbabwean cousins, too? As for some notorious Ghanian lawyers in Oman Ghana paaaa, diiyi3, tweaaaaa...

To the foreign diplomats making culturally inappropriate threats to African governments

Dear critical-reader, it is said that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. It is in that light that one humbly suggests to the diplomats representing certain foreign powers across the continent, to take that into account, as they seek to protect the rights of LGBTQ1+ demographics across Africa.

With the greatest respect, they must cease publicy threatening governments in the continent that pass legislation to criminalise aspects of same sex relationships - as even moderate and empathetic Africans see them as culturally inappropriate threats. Full stop. Yooooooo...

The question they must ponder over is: Should they all not rather focus instead on quietly funnelling all cancelled aid money, combine same, and use such monies to directly help empower Africa's LGBTGQ+ individuals and communities (as well as those who dare to speak out publicly, to demand that the human rights of the continent's LGBTQ1+ individuals and communities,
ought to be respected and protected), to bootstrap their own way to financial independence, by funding livelihood training initiatives, and funding innovative and potentially profitable impactful start-ups, for example, for those unfairly oppressed Africans? Haaba.

After all, is wealth not as well-respected in all of Africa, as it is in the rest of the world (including the nations they represent, lol), and thus is a potent asset that can help make sure that all Africa's rainbow diversity cohorts (including LGBTQI+ demographics) of wealthy individuals, are also allowed to be themselves, regardless, peacefully, one asks? A word to the wise...

How can we end the controversy over self-indentified transgender individuals worldwide?

Dear critical-reader, how best can humankind end the daft cultural wars being waged so ferociously, globally, by mostly hypocritical extremists, on both the far right and far left?

To begin with, it ought to be noted that by definition, compromise, is a dirty word,  for extremists across the political spectrum on both the right and left,  on many issues, worldwide.

Furthermore, it is also a truism, dear critical-reader,  that the  yearning for freedom beats strongly in the hearts of all humans,  regardless of religious faith,  race and social  background, in every nation on the surface of sovereign national  territorial landmasses, and those of  islands in all the oceans surrounding the seven continents that make up humankind's common home,  our egregiously-trashed biosphere (that we risk ending up making uninhabitable and becoming an extinct species eventually - if we aren't more sensible about preserving the natural world's biodiversity hotspots, incidentally).

As serious and committed  libetarians,  who disapprove of the illiberalism of extremists, on the right and left, globally, who are purveyors of nanny-state do-as you-are-told, not-as-we-do  policies, which create fear and division amongst targeted demographics worldwide, why do we not find a commonsensical middle-ground solution, for those who seek to be free, to live the way they want, without offending or victimising others, by self-identifying as transgender individuals, for example?

Perhaps, dear critical-reader, by simply allowing individuals conceived and birthed  as biological females, who, when they  reach the age of majority,  then self-identify as transgender males, to use only female facilities in public spaces,  and compete with only females in all sports competitions they participate in, we might finally find a commonsensical  concensus-building  strategy to help us make some headway towards ending that particular thorny cultural wars  social controversy?

Ditto achieve the same end, by also asking those conceived and birthed as biological males, who then, when they  reach the age of majority,  self-identify as transgender females, to also use male only facilities in public spaces,  and compete with only males, in all sports competitions they participate in, by passing legislation to bedrock that worldwide? Surely, that might help end the daft cultural wars, now being waged so ferociously, by mostly hypocritical extremists, on both the far right and far left, worldwide? No?

Post Script:

It also occurs to one that the wealthy Global North  nations trying to protect the rights of LGBTQ1+ demographics across Africa, who publicy threaten governments in the continent that pass legislation to criminalise aspects of same sex relationships, ought to stop making such unhelpful culturally inappropriate public threats -  and rather focus on quietly funnelling all cancelled  aid money directly instead to helping empower LGBTGQ+ individuals and communities (as well as those who dare to speak out publicly, to demand that the human rights of LGBTQ1+ individuals and communities,
ought to be respected and protected), to bootstrap their own way to financial independence, by funding livelihood training initiatives,  and funding innovative and potentially profitable impactful start-ups, for those unfairly oppressed Africans.

After all, is wealth not as well respected in all of Africa, as it is in the rest of the world,  and thus can help mak sure that its demographics' cohorts (including LGBTQI+ denigraohics) of wealthy individuals,  are also  allowed  to be themselves, regardless, peacefully, lol, one asks? A word to the wise...

Does Hamas bear ultimate responsibility for every single death in the Gaza strip?

Dear critical-reader, on the thorny global issue-of-the-moment now playing out, so tragically,  in the Middle East region, let's be clear about one thing:

The Palestinian terrorist organisation, Hamas, bears ultimate  responsibility, for every single tragic death in Gaza,  resulting from Israel's determination to destroy Hamas' terror infrastructure,  hidden underground beneath civilian buildings and infrastructure, so that  its terrorists  never again pose a serious threat to Israeli citizens, and Israeli population centres, near the Gaza strip. Full stop. Case closed.

Furthermore, speaking personally, I owe my success during my sojourn abroad, in the Netherlands and the UK, to open-minded Jews, whom I chanced upon,  who accepted my humanity, overlooked my skin hue, and  bought into my money-making ideas, with alacrity.

Conversely, sadly for me, every single Arab I met while living in Bayswater, West London, for example, despised me, denied my humanity and sought to exploit me. Even though one is open-minded by nature, and aware of the many dangers flowing from stereotyping a whole people, and the evil inherent in that, yet still, one can't help but not be a fan of extremist Arabs, for that reason, lol.

Finally, dear critical-reader, the question one constantly  ponders over on the ongoing war in Gaza is: If even ordinary Palestinians are now fed up to the backteeth, with Hamas, for using civilians as human shields, and boldly criticising Hamas' attacks on Israeli civilians, villages, towns and cities, using rockets,  who am I to say anything to the contrary? Hamas bears ultimate  responsibility for every death in the Gaza strip, and for the apocalyptic destruction of structures in the built environment there. Full stop.  Case closed.

December 2024: How can Ghana's younger generation of media professionals help ensure free and fair elections?

Dear younger generation media colleagues, although one is aware that at a time when resources are hard to come by, for most media entities in a nation experiencing an unprecedented cost of living crisis, and that it would therefore be unfair to expect you to stretch your watchdog role, as the fourth pillar of our democracy, by demanding it of you, one nonetheless still feels that somehow, you must also play a critical role, in helping Ghanaian society generally to protect the sanctity of the December 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

It is in that light that one wonders whether or not, as active young media professionals, although it's not your primary focus, as patriotic citizens, you and your colleagues in our media landscape are nonetheless actively considering how best you can also contribute to the effort to try and stop widespread rigging, from occurring, in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections? Are you? No? Yes?

Furthermore, do you think that it would be prudent, and wise, for those amongst you who possess them, to leverage your global networks of contacts, to assist Ghanaian CSOs committed to ensuring free and fair elections, in December 2024, to enable them contact Elon Musk, so as to arrange with him to offer his Starlink broadband satellite Internet service, to Ghana, regardless of what the National Communications Authority (NCA) says about Starlink, to enable the livestreaming of voting in all polling stations nationwide on his X (formerly Twitter), platform, as a practical demonstration of his personal contribution to protecting the sanctity of elections in democracies worldwide?

The December 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections, are pivotal, in ensuring that for the foreseeable future, our country will continue to remain one in which every four years, duly registered voters can select candidates of their choice, by casting votes in legitimate polling stations nationwide, to help in the governance of our nation, as parliamentarians, and to fill the pre-eminent position, of President of the Republic of Ghana (POTROG). If it is rigged in widespread fashion, there is no question that enforced regime change will swiftly occur in Ghana. For sure. No question. The NCA needs to understand that clearly. Now. Not tomorrow. Full stop. Yoooooooo...

Finally, it is for all the aforementioned reasons that one humbly appeals to all independent-minded and patriotic media professionals in our country, to work hard, to find innovative ways of helping to ensure free and fair elections across the entire territorial landmass of our Republic, long before December 2024. In that light, the question to ponder over as wise and aspirational young professional Africans is: How best can Ghana's younger generation of media professionals help ensure free and fair presidential and parliamentary elections, in December 2024?

To whom it may concern: If the cap fits, wear it!

To the young Gomoa Buduburam Camp Liberia refugee settlement area cyberfruadsters trying to tangle with me: Nothing could be more dangerous for them, oooo.

For their own good, it would help those Gomoa Buduburam Camp Liberia refugee settlement area youth, who keep on sending me fake Facebook friend requests (which they think will somehow ensnare me, and allow them to subsequently hack my online social media pages), greatly, if they refrained from such foolishness. Some hope.  Sodden morons.

Yes, sure, I might be an ignoramus and uneducated old fool, but I wasn't born yesterday, for the information of those too clever by half sods.

They are courting a definite invitation to the Cybercrime Unit, of the Ghana Police Service, soon, if they continue to try and hack my online social media pages, oooo, for their information, the sods.

My patience is being stretched thin, by their daft-obduracy and egregious-inane-stupidity, oooo, the bloody ingrates. They know who they are - so they must wear that metaphorical cap: as it fits them perfectly. Yoooooooo...

To America's Tucker Carlson types: All discrimination is moronic

The Tucker Carlsons of America, need to understand clearly that all discrimination is moronic. Simple. It is debilitating-negativity that has no place in meritocratic aspirational-spaces of any kind. Full stop. Case closed.

The United States Armed Forces remains a powerful military force precisely because it is a colour-blind meritocracy. It has no room for acolytes of racists whatever their skin hue, for that reason.

There are private military contractors that American racists of all hues can join if they want military careers.

They must be purged from all the armed services that make up the U.S. Armed Forces, because they are cancerous-fifth-columnists whose bile can weaken it over time. Full stop. They are dangerous-misfits that don't belong there. Simple.

Furthermore, the United States of America, the world's wealthiest nation by far, thus far, is still a multiracial society thank goodness - and draws its economic strength from leveraging the boundless energies flowing from being blessed with the gifts and talents bedrocking melting-pot-communities nationwide.

Bottom line: All discrimination is moronic, lol. It is debilitating-negativity that has no place in meritocratic aspirational-spaces of any kind. America's hypocritical Tucker Carlson-types need to get that, lol. Full stop. Case closed. Haaba

The NDC's 24-hour economy policy proposal needs examining carefully

It is said that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. That is why the graveyard of pupulist slogans, is filled with promised policy ideas that well-intentioned politicians were inveighled to campaign with, by crafty and amoral too-clever-by-half super-ruthless-advisors, with an eye on the main prize, political power.

Speaking metaphorically, one saw the grave of the slogan "Ghana beyond aid" in the cemetary of pupulist slogans, as it happens, dear critical-reader. The epithet on its tombstone read: "Had so much potential,  but died prematurely, alas.  Elite unfathomable greed murdered it."

It is in that light that one sees the need for cautioning politicians and party footsoldiers of the opposition National Democratic Congress  (NDC), who are clearly  banking on the so-called 24-hour economy (now being touted as the moonshot-idea), which their party, if voted into power,  will deploy to rescue Mother Ghana, from the doldrums of bankruptcy, which has all but tanked its national economy, and stymied sustained GDP growth.

To be fair, the 24-hour economy has the potential to impact Ghanaian society positively, by creating jobs galore, and generating wealth that remains locally, nationwide - but only if private sector entrepreneurs are sufficiently incentivised to make them regard their workers as valuable partners, to share profits with,  and be given Scandinavian-type working conditions: in exchange for labour union guaranteed  higher productivity, as the quid pro quo.

The question a wise and aspirational people like Ghanaians ought to ponder over when politicians talk enthusiastically about creating a 24-hour economy to help transform Ghana into a prosperous society is: Is it likely that a private-sector overwhelmingly dominated by tax-dodging, and mostly unpatriotic  private entrepreneurs,  who treat workers as slaves (to be ruthlessly exploited till they are either injured, and sacked unceremoniously, without compensation, or suddenly drop dead from being overworked and underpaid, as casual workers, although they are permanent workers in all but name,  with no rights who are forced to work in appalling conditions, and often forbidden to join labour unions), can suddenly change their abuse and exploitation of workers, and stop evading taxes, voluntarily, for patriotic reasons, when they neither give a toss about our Republic, nor care a hoot about the masses from whose ranks they obtain their slave-labour? Let us think over the NDC's  24-hour economy policy  idea carefully, and examine it thoroughly, oooo, Ghanafuor. Yoooooooo...

A quick note to the CEO of the Electricity Company of Ghana

Sir, we will go straight to the point: We write to petition you, to, as a matter of some urgency, transfer the meter reader, who covers properties in the National Investigations Buareu (NIB ), enclave, at the Gomoa Buduburam SHC estate, immediately. Now. Not tomorrow.

He is causing havoc amongst retirees in our community, with his outrageous and totally unacceptable conduct, in inflating the consumer usage readings when he digitally records power usage in properties here.

Speaking personally, that arrogant genius, for example,  inflated the latest consumption reading of the meter in the property I currently reside in, by as much as 2,000 plus units, and sent me a text message the following day, stating that I had used as much as 2,800 (or thereabouts) units, when that clearly wasn't the case, after we videoed the current reading the next day.

Sir, logically, and legally, no ECG meter reader anywhere in the territorial landmass of our Republic, who has access to an installed ECG-issued electricity meter, in any property, should be allowed to issue estimated consumer usage reading reports.

Furthermore, that kind of conduct, clearly cloaks what amounts to fraudulent conduct - by making the bogus claim that the inflated consumer power usage reading report sent by text message, is an estimated reading.

Once an ECG meter reader records power usage readings digitally in a property to which he or she has gained access, that reading is the actually power used in the property.

Full stop - and inflating the figure and cloaking it as an estimated reading is tantamount to defrauding consumers. Nothing more, nothing less.

On that basis, to serve as a deterent to other ECG meter readers across Ghana, please order the transfer of the meter reader who currently covers properties in the NIB enclave at the Gomoa Buduburam SHC estate, immediately. Swiftly. Now. Not tomorrow.

Humble advice to Hon. Alan John Kwadwo Kyrematen

As he seeks the presidency, in the December, 2024 presidential election, as an independent candidate, one hopes that Hon. Alan John Kwadwo  Kyrematen will heed a humble piece of advice that one has for him.

First things first, though, dear critical-reader: In keeping with our Y3n 3nfa 3nma Onyame traditions, here is a prayer to the Lord God Almighty, for Alan John Kwadwo Kyrematen's well being and safety:  Yewura Chief,  Onyame 3nhyria wu daaaa, 3nma Ghana moburowaafuor, wai. Amen!

That said, now to the business at hand: On purely empathic human-level metrics, could
Alan John Kwadwo Kyrematen be described as the best human being, thus far, ever to run  for the pre-eminent position, of  President of the Republic of Ghana (POTROG), in modern times, since the overthrow of
President Nkrumah, in February, 1966?

On that basis, one humbly   advises him, to make home ownership for all families and individuals across Ghana that request for it (in new planned private-sector built  climate resilient green communities, across the entire landmass of our Republic), the central plank of his people-centred transformational agenda, to lift tens of millions out of poverty.

That bleeding-edge policy idea,  could be implemented, within the first one hundred days of his presidency, by advancing 100-year interest  free  generational levelling-up loans (with 5-year grace periods before miniscule installment repayments begin), to all families and individuals who request for it, nationwide.

Those 100-year generational levelling-up home loans, could be deposited into Bank of Ghana (BoG) central bank digital cedi bank accounts, to be opened for them, for that purpose.

Surely, such a bleeding edge economic policy idea, ought to be the central plank of Alan John Kwadwo Kyrematen's people-centred transformational agenda: as it will help boost economic activities across Ghana, and help increase our country's GDP, while creating jobs galore, and generating wealth that remains locally, nationwide? That is one's humble advice to Alan John Kwadwo Kyrematen, and one ends it, with a prayer: Alan Kwadwo  Kyrematen, Onyame 3nhyria wu daaaa, 3nma Ghana moburowaafuor, wai. Amen!

Let us tear up the illegitimate lithium mining lease issued to Barari DV Ghana Limited

Dear critical-reader, even an ignoramus and uneducated old fool like me, understands clearly,  that without prior approval by Parliament, the granting of a lithium mining lease to Barari DV Ghana Limited, the Ghanaian subsidiary of Australia domiciled  Atlantic Lithium, cannot be legitimate  - and ought therefore to be swiftly torn up. Full stop.  Yoooooooo...

The question to ponder over is: Have our current leaders still not noticed how our cousins in our West African sister nations of Niger, Burkina Faso, Guinea and Mali, are dealing with such unconscionable one-sided extractive sector colonial-era type of agreements with the French entities, which were ruthlessly ripping them off?  Haaba.

As wise and aspirational Africans, let us swiftly reject this monstrosity - and tear up what is clearly a robber-baron colonial-era-type of mining agreement. Ditto stop signing them permanently, henceforth.  Haaba.

If Ghana's current leaders were  creative, selfless, honest and patriotic, by now they would've learnt from  Niger's terrible experience with France, over its uranium deposits being sold and bought  for a pittance in an unconscionable mining agreement  -  and, instead, would have  approached Elon Musk's Tesla,  to partner Ghana to mine all her lithium deposits to produce EV batteries, in a local win-win vertically integrated gigafactory deal.

Musk is honest and would have been happy to sign a model win-win agreement with Ghana, to showcase to the world, what a difference impactful and ethical private-sector  entrepreneurs from the Global North, can make, in helping to create prosperous societies in the Global South.

Ghana's Parliament must reject and halt these colonial-era type of exploitative natural resource mining sector deals. As wise and aspirational Africans, we can do better and must stop signing  such unconscionable and  exploitative mining agreements. Let us tear up the illegitimate lithium mining lease issued to Barari DV Ghana Limited, for that reason. Now. Not tomorrow. Full stop. Yoooooooo...

Let's talk instead to Elon Musk's Tesla, about partnering Ghana, to  set up a refinery, and EV battery  gigafactory,  to enable Ghana to establish a vertically integrated EV battery manufacturing industry locally,  so that our country benefits fully from all our lithium deposits. Towards  that end, let us tear up the illegitimate lithium mining lease issued to Barari DV Ghana Limited. Simple and  commonsensical. Case closed. Full stop. A word to the wise. Yooooooo...
