#Global Justice Weekly: Join The Fight For Global Justice

Dear Friend,

War crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide are on the rise all around.

Mass murder. Bombing civilians. Torture. Pillage. Rape as a weapon of war. Disappearances. Extrajudicial killings.

These unimaginable atrocities are sanctioned at the highest levels. Civilians – particularly children and women – suffer most.

Enough is enough.

Such grave crimes threaten the peace, security and well-being of the world.

For the first time in history, we can bring individuals - including presidents, generals and rebel leaders - to justice in national courts, or failing that, through the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

Join the fight for global justice.

TAKE ACTION, GET INVOLVED – email your elected representative, join campaigns, browse internships and remote volunteering opportunities.

The GlobalJustice news center features the latest civil society views and international justice news on a weekly basis. We welcome guest submissions. Please also send us any relevant materials for circulation.

All Coalition key advocacy is to be found on the following pages:

 •   Global justice - our Campaign for universal ICC membership and national ICC laws.
 •   A strong ICC  - our work for a fair, effective and independent Court
 •  State support  - our work to garner greater state support and cooperation for the Rome Statute system

The ICC situations and cases pages are fully up to date with key information and civil society advocacy.

The media page has all press releases, factsheets and so forth.

The resources page has a range of links to useful websites and a glossary of terms.

The old Coalition website remains available as an archive.

The Coalition for the ICC is a global civil society network of over 2,500 member organizations in 150 countries.

We led the successful campaign to set up the ICC for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.

We’re continuing to fight for global justice through national courts and the now well-established ICC in The Hague.
