DEI not a factor in increase in incidence of aircraft near-misses?

If one remembers correctly, dear critical-reader, Mark Twain it was, who, once upon a time, is said to have said that: “There are lies, damn lies, and statistics.”

America must definitely end the divisive cultural wars ruining it - with the endless battles underpinned by statistics, lol.

Even an ignoramus and uneducated old fool like me, gets it, that it is perfectly understandable that aircraft near-misses will go up, simply because of the sheer numbers of aeroplanes flying across the U.S. daily, for example, lol.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), is irrelevant in that sense. Surely, tech gurus ought to rather focus on cutting-edge AI technological
innovations, which will make air control towers in airports worldwide, more efficient and effective, lol?

Ditto will it not be advantageous to society, generally, were tech gurus to also elect to focus on promoting bleeding-edge AI technological innovations, which will make the arduous task of aircraft maintenance, too, effective and efficient worldwide - by removing the human-error-factor, from their operational fields, lol? No? Yes? It makes absolutely no sense at all to blame all societal ills on DEI. Full stop. Case closed, Haaba.
